I'm fairly sure they've reverted to 9th, followed by 10th floor. The floor number will be displayed at the lift.

The nicer 10th floor is used as a field hospital when numbers get higher.

I think that was mis-reported. Recent numbers are:

Day 74 that number above was reported as 1st dose. Another 201,318 as second dose. So yes, new people never vaccinated before, the number is 651,606.

Edit: If the Khaosod chart I post weekly has been combining 1st and 2nd all along, their totals and targets are rubbish. It won't be posted any longer to avoid confusion.

I don't think you've been posting rubbish Pete. I read somewhere that they cocked it up one day last week. I think this is the one.

With ref to the 64million dollar question as to which vaccine to have......


Im starting to think that in the long term we're all going to need a 3rd or 4th jab anyway in 6/12 months time

So the jab you have now is for the next 4 to 6 months only

Arent they all good for that period? Is there not an argument to get want you can and top up with 'the good stuff' later??

Thoughts?

Yep...That's my take on it. I have travel plans for next June and as it stands now the AZ shots I'm having are not accepted in the UK so at some point I've got to look at other variables but at least for now I feel a little bit safer over here. So, my advice, get what you conveniently can for now but do have a plan B, C and possibly D.

As you can see from my post I've not been following the finer details of the various vaccines, like many have on here

My post is prompted by the fact that I need to decide if I go to MedPark this week and get the first of what has been my preferred vax to date namely Pfizer

But now reading that Pfizer 'runs out' after 4 months or so, so like I say in the long term it seems to be about what we have for the 3rd and 4th shots. Hopefully they will improve in time too

Obviously, you still need protecting in the short term and therefore I'm starting to think that Sinovac + Vauxhall Astra hybrid is good enough for the short term. Available at downtown Hua Hin Hospital. Saves having to go to Bkk and all that goes with that

That's my dilemma

The best I can offer is that the doctor I see in Petchaburi, that I referred you to, has had 2 shots of Sinovac and 1 of Pfizer and he said he was happy with that. I’m going with 1 Sinovac and 1 AZ and if there’s a third (probably AZ booster recommended) I’ll go with that too.

Khaosod haven't corrected the error, if they do I'll continue to use their data.

Fully jabbed now. Don't know why I worried about the computer record - everything worked fine with bits of paper. Still very efficient. Queues to get into the lift today must have been 400 yards long. I parked in car park, and it soon became apparent all lifts going up were full. So I got a lift going down, and upset the lift monitor when I wouldn't get out out to let the queuing people up. Actually, lift availability is a worry when I return with Mrs BB's wheelchair in 2 weeks time.

I was there before 7, and loads of people there already. Organisation was superb. I was sent to Zone 4 (30 people in a zone). We sat there until called (10 minutes?) and were marched as a group upstairs to floor 10. Checked in at 3 different desks, and then led into the jab room. Jabber came to me within 5 minutes, 30 minute wait and then let home. Simples. No blood pressure farce this time, and no forms to fill out.

Only one minor gripe - everything was done in Thai. Not a problem though because I took my son who was my interpreter.
