Flights to/from Hua Hin Airport

Personal choice, but the fact is, every slow news day we get told how big Hua Hin Airport is becoming. Flights to here, there and everywhere. In one stroke of the pen they've just reduced the flights by almost 50%.

I and probably very few people will know the reason why, but presumably it’s a decision reflecting the volume of customers - near empty planes don’t make a profit!!

According to Wikipedia flights commence from Hua Hin to Pattaya on 28 October on Summer Airways

The Wikipedia link to their website seems to show they don't have one, and at the bottom of the article they are shown in the list of defunct airlines. I can't find a webpage by searching Google either. Their Facebook page (Thai Summer Airways) has no posts since March last year. My confidence in them is low.

I think (if I ever actually wanted to go to Pattaya) I'd just continue to drive/take a taxi.

But no flights from Hua Hin this year. I'd have thought if they were starting in less than 2 weeks, they'd be taking bookings by now.

When I was trying to research the airline earlier, I found an article saying they had returned their 2 aircraft.

Hua Hin-Chiang Mai flight schedule from Oct 27
Thai Airasia has updated its daily flight schedule between Hua Hin and Chiang Mai:

Hua Hin to Chiang Mai: Departure 5:15pm, Arrival at 6:30pm

Chiang Mai to Hua Hin: Departure 3:25pm, arrival at 4:45pm

Special schedule for Loy Krathong holiday (Nov 15): departure from Hua Hin 2pm, arrival in Chiang Mai 3:15pm

A bit on the side this question but I'm going to KL for some medicines I can't get here and have earlier heard that AirAsia is flying from Hua Hin - Kuala Lumpur is that still the case?

KL flight stopped during covid era and has not restarted as far as I know. I think it is Chiang Mai flight only out of Hua Hin.
