But we don't have the same situation as the likes of those at the top of the % of the population tree. Gibraltar is minute - I walked the perimeter in a few hours, even stopping for a beer on the way.

Having delivered a massive 83 doses in 84 days, Pitcairn is 2nd in the % of the population tree. Don't tell the Generals that you're happy with that kind of performance - you may get what you wish for.

I would suggest unrealistic comparisons. There is no way Thailand is going to reach the dizzy heights of 233 doses per 100 population for sometime. Even China, who have delivered almost 100x as much vaccine (1,782,525,000 doses) can't compete when using your comparison.

It is just another metric in the minefield of mindless stats we have all been subjected to. You see what you want to see, those that have had a shot are more likely to be more positive about things than those that haven't.

Personally, having received just one shot of Sinovac, I am far from positive. Hopefully, in 13 days time when I get AZ, I will feel a bit happier, but I won't feel confident until I get a booster, whatever that might be.

So then it'll be "haven't the generals done a marvellous job". All the while 50 million people are still waiting for their first shot. :banghead: :duck:

Edit: sorry mate, nothing personal - just venting a bit of steam!

I fully understand the frustrations. I've suffered enough of them through this process. When they need to give 2 x 66M shots, it will take time. As us wrinklies are most vulnerable, it makes sense that we are prioritised. Hopefully, by the time they get around to you youngsters, they'll have used all of the crap vaccine on us, and you will be rewarded with the decent stuff for being patient.

A further 72 doses of first shot AZ given by PKK again yesterday. Still wondering who the 'special ones' are.

Can anyone tell me if HHH have given up on Queue Numbers for first time vaccinations for the over 60 who have one of the 7 underlying conditions, is it now just a free for all walk-in?

What is your status? Have you registered yet, or need to register? I think walk-in is for Thais only, but may be wrong on that one.

I'd be interested also in what Geko's asking.

I've registered and things are some 500 away from my queue number but all I'm seeing at the moment is walk ins for Thais.

Does anyone know if the queue system for first time vaccines has been ditched?

HHH next walk-in is 7.30-11.30am on Friday. Thais only. Over 60s and 7 vulnerable groups.
Next walk-in is now Wednesday 11th (tomorrow). First 500 people at 1pm.

For elderly and 7 vulnerable groups. NO MENTION OF THAI ONLY. But... ????

In the HHH Facebook page announcing this walk-in someone posted a question about elderly foreigners. One of the repliers said she saw several elderly foreigners getting vaccinated in the Monday walk-in. Advertised as Thai only.

Others (Thai) are complaining about being in the registered queue and waiting months and now being queue-jumped.

Suggestions in no particular order:
Try going along to a walk-in. Having a registration queue number to show may help.
Phone HHH - 032523000
Register on expatvac.consular.go.th - You never know, you might get Pfizer :D
Try the BCCT (if British)
Wait and see if the queue gets called again.

HHH did queue based vaccinations only yesterday (I know because I was called for the 3rd time :?). The number is up to 9503. If you are only 500 from the top, I would guess you will be vaccinated next week.
