Most of us manage to bring a bit of self-deprecation to our posts, however yours Jimmy Greaves, are full of vitriol and spite. It`s not my fault your team havn`t finished above Arsenal for around twenty years. Just chill, this just might be your year.
Did you name yourself Jimmy Greaves from his Chelsea period, his Spurs period, his alcoholic period or his football "expert" period.

I believe it was from his Brentwood period. His Chelsea period eclipsed all other achievements.

We've been here before Caller - Yes I did win a lot more trophies and score more goals at Chelsea (dreamer) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Greaves

Very moving, BG, but there's only so many times you can get away with repeating one line!

Arsenal have got rid of two of their 'star" strikers recently.....Gervinho to Roma and now Chamakh to Crystal Palace....dont think they will be getting Suarez in as a replacement, though.
Barcelona have had a 14.6m GBP bid for Liverpools,Daniel Agger, rejected but are expected to up their bid this week !
I think Baa Baa is currently on holiday with his mentor,Rafa Benitez,in Naples but, hopefully, should be back in time for the start of the Premiership season which is Liverpool v Stoke 12.45 lunchtime UK and 6.45pm for us here in Thailand this Saturday.
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

Hello all,

Looking for a decent bar with decent people to watch the footy with.

Definition of a decent person - everyone except;

1) Deluded Spurs fans
2) Deluded Liverpool fans

Just can't listen to their nonsense anymore, it's gone on wayyyyy to long. Accept the situation.

As an Arsenal fan, I am the first to jump on the state of things and am under no illusion that anything more than 4th spot is all we can hope for at the moment.

Only a few more days to go!

The whingeing begins. David Moyes continuing the Ferguson tradition and at the same time getting his excuses in early in case Utd get off to a bad start.
Manchester United manager David Moyes says he finds his club's start to the new season "hard to believe".

Among their first five Premier League games, the champions host Chelsea and Manchester City and Liverpool away. Moyes said: "I find it hard to believe that's the way the balls came out of the bag, that's for sure."
Anyway, does it really make a difference when you play the top teams? (Not that Liverpool really fall into that category these days.) A difficult start means an easier run of games at some point.
