Celtic v AC Milan
Jockey/Tam,. listened to the Talksport show the day after, and everyone had nothing but praise for Celtic.
There were a lot of people when Strachan 1st went to Celtic after O'Neil left who did not think he was up to the job, and must admit he did not have the best of starts. I think the knives were out for him pretty fast, and to his credit, stuck to his guns and now has a pretty good side in the makings.
The guys I heard talking about the game heaped praise on the 2 young centre backs and reckoned that both had a blinder, I have not seen the game yet so cannot really pass comment (yes or no).
But it is only for the good of the game, that your teams as well as the English keep doing well in Europe (Always a good British Victory) who ever wins
Anyway, should be a big day Saturday when you lift the League again and back into Europe again next year.
Hail Hail

Well after seeing the draw, my only comment it is against the team that I would least have like to play at this stage.
But in saying that, thay are there to be beaten and think we will have a big go.
If we do beat them I think our biggest threat of winning the cup will be gone.

Chelsea,
Yes we seem to be making headway still need a quality striker to play alongside VOH and a quality midfielder who can drive us forward - now we have possibly the best keeper in UK, though I suspect he will be at Arsenal next season.
WGS has done a great job give the various circumstances and I am sure he will take us further next season - if he continues to make progress then I suspect he will be heir to Ferguson.

Hail! Hail!
Tam - I think Chec is every bit as good as Boruc. I also think the next manager of Man U will be one of 3, Hiddink (possibly too old), O'Neill or Roy Keane. I've a sneaky it will be Roy but if Gordon were to go I'd get Roy as a replacement.Thai Tam wrote:Chelsea,

Brian Moore was priceless (bless him), he could never get himself to say a great Scottish Victory, and we all commend him for that.
When we watched the Aberdeen game, we run a book on how long before the end of the game (if Aberdeen were winning), would Brian spout those imortal words (Great British Victory) and when he did yours truly was closet to the mark.
It was one of the funniest things I have seen and heard for a long time, and was luck to esacpe the pub with my life and the winnings.
And yes Jocky we have not won it yet, is going to be hard with the draw but at least we get the hard one over with and then only have the scousers to play if they beat PSV. So that should be us to the final.
Beat Manure in the final, what a way to end the season.
