Ok, I wasn't going to get involved but I've just got to ask -

I'm assuming most/all of you have been in relationships with farang women at some point.....so what is this all about? In what way are Thai women so different - and obviously I'm referring to personality/character/temperament i.e. nothing too *ahem* 'off topic' please - I haven't had breakfast yet....

I think the issue is way Thai females interupt or the way they process incoming information that is the real key to figure out what is going on. There is logic or what I assume what should be logical and how my Wife for example converts it to what she thinks is logical. Hence at times there appears to be a large gap in our conculsions. Who knows maybe its my way of thinking that is screwy not hers.

But Thai in general have a very Thai way of thinking at times IMHO. :banghead:

I have never been in a long term relationship with a farang female and would really be interested to hear “what’s is this all about”

Tis true. The Bangkok Post this morning cold weather advisory stated the following: "Cooler weather with a drop of 2-3 degree celcius and a strong wind are likely to cover the North, Northeast, East and Central regions. High Mountains will see a very cold weather and frost. People are advised to wear think clothes."

IMO the girls who wear think clothes do all right. It's the others that sometimes have problems. :duck: Pete

KateB ,
I think that what the nitty gritty side of this topic demonstrates that there are cultural differences at play here in mixed relationships IRRESPECTIVE of gender.Sometimes these differences are so ingrained and alien to another's way of thinking that it goes beyond fustration for many of us. Like it or not we are all products of our societies and upbringing. My relationship is nearly 40 years along and I still find the odd occassion when I feel like I may need another 40 to really appreciate my wife's spin on our world. Equally she probably sees the same in me too. But hey, that's part of the intrigue that bought us together in the first place and I wouldn't have it any other way.

God I hope there is a version for dummys and it is illustrated. I also hear by way of the grape vine that Samuel L Jackson is going to narrate a audio book version as well.

In ending thai edition is coming forthwith on Jan 1st 2022 and it is twice as thick.

I think that one was published many years ago. It's called "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus".
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
