Bought some because I could see that white rice wasn't giving me much in the way of B vitamins. Didn't take long before I thought of buttered toast without Vegemite as a missed opportunity for something better.

Brewer's yeast extract is a waste product left over from brewing beer. It's also a major ingredient in Vegemite/Marmite. So it is chemical waste, in a sense, though I'm sure some home brewer will set me straight.

When I first arrived in Sydney a Thai girl told me that it taste like shrimp paste...lol..and said that I might like it because Thai people like to eat shrimp paste..lol.
I've tried it once and never have it again...lol..
Good to see you back and posting ImThai. Don't let some of the things on here bother you, just ignore. Keep posting your opinions and viewpoints though as it's good to see a Thai perspective on many of the subjects that come up. :thumb: Pete

Could the Danish Parliment do something useful like banning volcanic ash exports from Icelend, its one time dependency? :naughty:
I'm sure Danish Princess Mary (ex Tasmania) has been told not to feed the royal children these nasty by products.
