As we are rarely in the northwest corner of Hua Hin, today was only the second time we've visited this place, but I have to say (again) it is outstanding! I had to go to Immigration today and Kor Sor is a short distance up Soi 6 from there so I took the missus with me and we went to lunch there after I finished with my visa extension.
The food is what I would call "Royal Thai" from what I've seen in Bangkok restaurants and it is very good at prices between 120 per dish up to around 280 (crab or prawn dishes). We had the same two dishes I mentioned in my earlier post because we loved them so much the first time and we added a third dish of masaman curry chicken that was also very good. the three dishes with a fancy fruit smoothie for the missus and steamed rice and two bottles of water came to just over 600 baht. I know you can eat cheaper but this food quality along with the ambiance and service like a five star hotel represents very good value for the money imho.
I took time to walk around the grounds and have a look at the whole place today including the bungalows (this is a resort), the lake, one of the biggest man made waterfalls I've encountered, and the pool. I think this would also be a very nice place to stay, especially for folks who drive from another part of Thailand and have their own transport. It is in a very quiet area but still only ten or fifteen minutes from downtown. Be warned for those for whom this would rule out a visit, being a resort they do add 7% VAT and 10% Service charge to the restaurant bill.

Re: Kor Sor restaurant
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
