I think Lazerdrab needs putting out of his misery.

I've seen that many times all along the Gulf coast, both sides, after large storms have gone through, and last week there were several with very rough seas. I don't think it has anything to do with pollution, but it could be because of the massive inflows of freshwater affecting small shore dwelling fish. I don't know how long fresh water takes to kill a saltwater fish? PeteRone wrote:No comment on the 100's dead fish?

As long as you have a plentiful supply of tissues I don't see it matters how often you rotten in front of your PC...Do not rotten in front of your PC`s.

Well I've been "out" fixing airplanes all night and it's been about 5 degrees C, spitting with rain and quite frankly it didn't feel in anyway superior to cyberspace.Get a life ! are you living in cyberspace or maybe in a wheelchair ? Get out,
I hope it's not as busy tomorrow night so I can stay "in".

Lek Lek was bought by the same people who own Lucky Restaurant & Guesthouse, 162/4 Soi Kanjanamai. Lek Lek has the same menu as Lucky, except lower prices.

In all of my years or coming to Hua Hin, I've rarely looked North of the town
, so wouldn't really feel able to comment on any changes.

Sounds good to me. They always have really good food. Many Thais eat there so can't be a bad thing. Iv'e never been disapointed. Don't tell everyone though or it wont be a secret anymore...Lek Lek has the same menu as Lucky, except lower prices.

It's for mobiles pharvey, just save any UK numbers in your phone with the code infront of it.pharvey wrote:Can you use through a mobile or only landline?poosmate wrote:The way to phone cheaply to the UK has changed. It’s no longer 00944, but is now 0050044

Good to see you arrived OK BB. We spent a few days in Bk first and been in HH now for 5. Changes? - very few from 2 years ago. Satukarn of course which I was prepd for. Prices pretty much the same in town centre from what I've seen so far. TukTuks yeah a standard 100.
Must admit I don't do beach but will check out to make sure it's still there now and then - the main thing I've noticed is that Internet Caffs seem to be shrinking in both size and quantity. (Understandable I guess as more people have computers at home.)
Traffic honestly doesn't seem any worse in HH, but in Bangkok the rock tits are worse IMO.
Otherwise same old same old but without tourists. So far I've bumped into more Thai people I know than farang

How are you finding the expenditure graph going? 2.5 years ago we were in the heady times of 70 or more baht to the pound. People say prices haven't changed much, but in reality they've gone up about 30 percent for tourists and fixed income retirees. How different have you found it now? To be honest I'm not half as blase as I used to be. Cheers

Same here, holding onto the money I've got until the upturn in 2012, but who knows it could happen before xmas and pigs may fly. Would like to buy a few big items but ain't gonna. Just spending on essentials and prioritising for my daughters education. Trying to do some English teaching myself with her. C'est la vie! Don't Worry, Be Happy.
