You could build a scale model of Hua Hin if you were in prison and had plenty of time...
No sharp blades allowed Randy. One would have to nibble with their teeth.

The roof should be going on today, then hope SL takes the lad for a well deserved reward at the venue of his choice. When a school project rolls around, he's all set to win the blue ribbon. :D Pete

Looking good splitlid, but.......would it not have been better to have a removable roof so you can still see the floor plan?

It's starting to look quite impressive.
I used to make those balsa wood airplanes as well, I think the company was called Kiel Craft or something similar. They had been around for years as I remember my father saying he had built the same rubber powered models in the late thirties.
To me it seemed much more fun than all the computer games kids have now.

Will he be making any furniture, kitchen appliances etc. to fit inside or will that be getting too girly / dolls house-ish for him

How long does the glue take to dry ? and will it be painted when finished or must we wait and see .... 8)

I once in a moment of pure madness purchased a model kit for a battleship and having spent 3 fraught days working on the damned thing it looked more like a melted turd than HMS Hood!!

By the forth day I was so mentally unstable I torched the bastard thing, but not before systematically hoofing it all over the bedroom floor.

I was in therapy for 3 months after for advanced anger management.

The mental scars are still with me to this very day... :|
