Long John silver Syndrome .Very observant .The guy fell from this roof some time ago and has a metal brace with several bolts running into his leg .Even while the bone was setting he rigged up a pully system and raised himself to the roof to carry on working .Well actually someone else probably did the rigging .No sick pay or compensation for these guys .The property is a private residence, not a resort .

That’s an impressive house; the style reminds me of some of the old Khmer temples you see up in Issan, particularly that entrance with the aligning doors made from small clay bricks.
I was visiting one last year with some of the partners relatives and I jokingly asked them how Thais managed to get the doors to line up more perfectly 750 years ago than they can now, which had them laughing, but if they had known this builder they could have shown me that the art is not lost.

The artisan in the photos on the original post is not that good. I can see 2 tiles on the east elevation which appear to be 5mm out of alignment. :P

Correct, that was the tiles he hit on the way down in his fall, dock his wages.

Sack them all, and put the rest on night shift. :cuss: :cuss:
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
