The same thing happened last year... if you check the stats look at our last 4 months - they were diabolical after starting so well. I can't put my finger on why this happens. Is it fatigue or is it just that, by this time, every team has figured out what it takes (tactically) to beat us and 'Arry's got no plan B?

Gotta give credit to Arsenal... What a comeback! This is when you start to realise the massive gap concerning managerial expertise that Wenger has over Harry. Of course we love him. He brought us up from the bottom but it's been quite obvious over the last two seasons that he really can't 'bring' it come the business end of the season... once again - check the stats.

I am truly worried about the outcome of this season for three reasons....

1. Our stars aren't gonna put it up for another year unless we can compete, salary wise, with what other teams are prepared to offer. Levy aint prepared to budge.

2. Our stars want to and CAN be playing at the highest level and I believe they will move on after this....unless by some miracle we claim a Champions league place.

3. If and when Harry goes.... unless it's the special one... who is going to get the best out of the players we can afford. Exactly how much did Arsenal and Newcastle spend and look at them go....even swansea and norwich are giving us a run for our money so.... :(

Unfortunately I believe the future is bleak at Spurs. We had our little 'moment' but unless we are bought out we will slip back into the shadows over the next 2 years. A harsh reality but a reality it is.

Been a great season nevertheless.... got more out of it than we usually get. Probably the last time imo.

... But the saving grace is... we could be Liverpool  Ya take what ya get
Well said! Let's hope he does get the England job now as he's pissed me right off tactically recently and the Saha infront of defoe debarcle. Happy Day's long gone!

I can't believe you're already settling for 6th place! Especially you, JG :tsk:
I'll assume you're just talking to the gods of football in your own way...

4th place and the FA Cup will do me nicely, thanks!

All spurs fans are dealing with it in their own ways at the moment. The younger fans are being hit harder than most. They are beginning to take it into their own hands to try and stop the asswhipping that's plagued us of recent months....

Still a few games to go... let's see eh! Come on you bloody Spurs!

Having spent the last few days listening to manure fans crowing from the roof tops & just as the fat lady was getting ready to sing . . . . it appears she was only clearing her throat

Well done Wigan :thumb:
Still clear favourites but even with a 5 pt lead, it may become a bit squeaky for fergies boys in the coming weeks , especially if they lose at the Etihad

I hope Wigan stay up again, i quite like Martinez.
Can't say i'll be wishing them well for their next game though.

Got alot of time for Martinez, classy guy and manager, I still want Wigan relegated though, shite club, nobhead fans and a tosser chairman. Rugby town, good riddance. Martinez can do better.

Deja-vu today.

No red card this time but an even bigger, more embarrassing dive than last time :?
No surprise, the ref bought it again

Makes things interesting.

Arsenal faltering
Spurs shite
Newcastle playing well
Chelsea playing well

Could it be that Newcastle/Chelsea do it?

It's certainly interesting, and Spurs are certainly playing crap, but when I read GLCQ's posts I can't help wondering if her really wants us to win! :?

Have a look at some of the games our rivals have to play in the next few weeks:

Arsenal - Chelsea
Chelsea - Newcastle
Newcastle - Man City
[West Brom - Arsenal]
[Stoke - Arsenal]
Liverpool - Chelsea

We are still favourites for 4th, and after the last night ( :D ), 3rd is still very much up for grabs.

As i've said all along, a lot of twists & turns yet before the season ends.

Realistically i'd say your lot are still favourites for 3rd. :(

We were crap last night, got caught by two sucker punches & ended up chasing the game.
Wigan defended well & to be fair deserved to win.

I won't be taking the GLCQ school of negative thought though  onto the next game

Lets hope dtaai-maai. We have to Play 4 of the relegation fighters, happy that Wigan ain't among them.

However the way we are currently playing it's going to take a massive transformation in form to get maximum points as we are currently shite away and a smidgen better than shite at home! Lets hope we don't need max or anywhere near it :-)
