I was supposed to get my purchased Moderna booster from Vibhavadi Hospital on December 24th on my way to Cha Am from Korat. I was advised by Line message yesterday that they are out of Moderna and can offer no vaccinations beginning with the 23rd. They seemed to have no idea when they might get more:

The Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) of Thailand is not yet to announce the actual date to transfer Moderna to Thailand. So, the next schedule to get the vaccine should be approximately in January 2022.

Thanks for the update. I hope they get it sorted. I am booked in for Moderna after the 10th January. Actual confirmation of date TBC. I chose that over Pfizer. Hope its not a bad choice.

/\ Likewise. I got an unexpected call from Sao Paolo hosp. today offering me a Moderna booster shot for sometime between Jan and March.

As I reported last week I got nada from them but I did give one of the nurses I know my telephone number just in case something came up. Paid half up front 1,600 bahtski. Maybe on the high side but my choice to pay.

Not sure if this was already posted on the forum somewhere (didn't see it if it was) but they opened registrations for Pfizer booster shots at the Bangsue vaccination center. Hopefully this is still working - it was a couple of days ago when I tried it although there were no open slots before mid-January.

There are a bunch of QR codes for the main mobile phone service providers plus a generic one, in the image below:

I'm gambling that by mid/late January it will available in Hua Hin

It's already happening here, but they have to do the 'not so good' vaccinated people first. The municipality bought thousands to get the people of Hua Hin vaccinated quickly. That means the rest of us have a longer wait compared to most. My son received his booster at Bluport on Thursday.

Actually, I think you may well be right. I made a booking for my wife to get her booster in Bangkok in January but she said she'd rather get it here and we're hoping like you, that by then it will be available in HH. If it is I'll cancel her Bangsue booking.

Worth noting that these are for Boosters to be given in Hua Hin(or PKK area)... Not Bangkok

Thanks for that. Registered my better half already.

I registered too.

All I got was a brief message on the form that the registration was complete.

It never asked me to confirm my email but it did re my phone number

I guess we wait to be phoned then.....
