Luis Suarez will consider submitting a formal transfer request and the possibility of court action if his Liverpool dispute is not resolved, say sources close to the player.
The 26-year-old believes Arsenal's bid of just over £40m triggered a clause in his contract that allows him to leave....from the Beeb.

As of yesterday the Suarez avatar remains as the silent ones. :neener:

Is that from the Telegraph? They seem to be carrying lots of 'word is' type stories at the moment, especially re: Bale.
Nope,it was actually on Thai TV.....heard nothing more about it since.
But today, according to BBC Sport,Barcelona have made a cash only bid for Luiz !

Suarez ordered to train alone by manager Brendan Rodgers "for showing total disrespect to the club".....move to Arsenal looking more likely now, methinks ?

United linked with Fellaini now :( hope not.....much rather have Fabregas even if its only on a year long loan deal.
Rooney for Mata plus cash would be ideal. No point in having a sulky guy on 250k a week in your squad and he will be able to leave for free in a couple of years, anyway.

The moral is don`t believe anything you read in the papers and only a club`s official website tells the true story. It is sometimes quite amusing to read the posts of spotty youths abusing one another in the redtops after a transfer "story" has been published. Of course, we on HHAD are above all that petty nonsense with the exception of infantile, jealous, fantasising Spuds fans who truly believe their team will finish above THE Arsenal (twentieth time lucky maybe)

I'll put money on it this season if you wally's don't get LS and we don't lose GB and RM get LS. I'm not a gambler!

I agree with JG. If Lpool keep Suarez and Spurs Keep Bale, along with the other signings by both clubs this season, Arse will be out of the top 5/6 unless they make some good signings soon.

Something I'm intrigued about re: the Scouse and Spud signings to date - why was no-one else interested?

Soldado is interesting, didn't make the grade at Real, but has scored a goal approx. every other game at 3 teams in Spain since, but take away the big two?

It will be interesting to see if Rodgers and AVB really have found gold and added brownie points to their reputations?

Yeah but, the "experts" and Spuds fans have been saying this for the last ten years at least. As for your comment JG surely the wallies are those who made those predictions, not the Arsenal fans who just kept quiet and waited for the season to finish. Remember "mind the gap" jibes? I do.

Capoue is exactly what Arsenal need – since the departure of Alex Song to Barcelona, Wenger has lacked physicality in his midfield. Song was never really that much of a defensive-minded player to begin with but, since his departure, Mikel Arteta has been deployed in that position.

It’s not just about height but also about power and strength – Arsenal desperately lack that player in the role of Patrick Vieira charging through their midfield, protecting the defence and clearing up the danger when they lose possession.
"Why Arsenal must sign Etienne Capoue this summer"

Apparently not.
Asked about Capoue's suggested move to White Hart Lane, Toulouse president Olivier Sadran is quoted in L'Equipe as telling RMC: "He will go there."
Sounds quite similar to Sandro.
As he will be something like our 20th midfielder, I expect to see one or two offloaded soon. Perhaps Arsenal would like to bid for Parker?

He was a good player when he left West Ham and I thought he would have been good for Arsenal, but I suppose being in a lesser team has diminished his enthusiasm.

I have a theory, like many great theories it will probably turn out to be rubbish but, I think that Arsene Wenger is stoking up the hysteria surrounding the transfer, or not, of Suarez to disguise his pursuit of other signings. The vultures of the media are consumed with this story as they are with Rooney and Bale. They should just wait and report on the facts not speculation. Where is Baa Baa by the way?
