COVID-19 Situation on 27th April 2021
I expected HH District number to rise(for Monday) as Sunday cases always low but 7 is still very encouraging
I can't check it now but seem to recall 2 weeks ago the Monday number was over 100

It's all about non-interaction. Nipping to 7/11 taking the usual precautions, face mask, distancing and using the gel provided then repeating when you arrive back in your 'bubble'.
P.S. 7/11 deliver! In fact, deliveries are very widespread now from almost every major outlet, restaurants and the like.
My family in the UK were in bubbles. My daughter said she was frustrated that she couldn't visit her mother just a stone's throw away because her mother and brother were together in a 'support bubble' but she wasn't part of that bubble.

All new to me as I'm a solo bubbler

Let’s hope for low numbers of new infections this week, so HH can get out of the red zone!

Due to the 4 day weekend this coming weekend it's next week figures I'm worried about. They will probably rise and therefore we will remain red.
I simply can't believe that even after Songkran debacle that they are still letting outsiders come here with their germs!
And regardless of any inter provincial 'restrictions' nobody will be turned away, nobody!

To be fair, regardless of the lack of travel restrictions, visitors to HH are way down. Anyone that ventured out over the weekend would notice that traffic was very light on Petchkasem Road. Quieter than I've seen it for a long time.
People are genuinely staying away which is evidenced in the falling numbers of infections here. People being sensible! - Most unusual.

They really don't get it do they? I'm reluctant to 'knock' Thais as the majority are very good people. However, those in authority never stop displaying their ignorance. They believe that washing your hands with alcohol gel is a must when it's undisputed that soap and water is better than gel anytime. Gel is a convenient mobile alternative.
Masks in the home with your own family! Eating separately which implies cooking individually etc etc. How do these individuals get into a position of authority?
As I understand it from other versions of this announcement, the "indoor and outdoor" refers to indoor and outdoor public spaces - such as shopping malls.
It doesn't refer to people inside their own homes.
https://www.tatnews.org/2021/04/face-ma ... provinces/
On that link, it states: "According to the Ministry of Interior, a fine up to 20,000 Baht will be imposed on those for not wearing masks in both indoor and outdoor
public spaces in the following provinces."
Prachuap is included in the list.

I hadn't seen other versions of the order. However, surely the wearing of masks was already covered. Wearing of masks in public spaces being compulsory.
They have to expand that to 'both indoor and outdoor public spaces'.
Is the public so stupid that everything has to be explained by the letter. There'll be detailed instructions next on how to clean your rear after going to the toilet! Step 1:.......... , Step 2: ............

Never underestimate the stupidity of some people - not specifically Thai, it applies worldwide including my home country England, (let’s call it the UK).

To expand on that a bit; "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."
Not sure if that was P.T. Barnum or H.L. Mencken.
