^^ :agree: Hear chuffin' hear!

Both had an opportunity to clear this mess up last night, both behaved like spoiled brats at a kids' party. And their respective managers didn't help.

In the meantime, and back in the real world, Spurs 5 - 0 Newcastle. A reminder that football can be sublime.

That's 4 points in 2 games, RZR, when will we get the 5th?  (I tried to find your post, but there's so much crap about you know what I gave up in disgust.)

The Suarez-Evra affair has overshadowed what was a pretty poor Liverpool performance.
Where was the passion ? They were playing their most hated rivals,Manchester United.....they just lay down and accepted their fate.
When Suarez scored their consolation goal they should have been about 3-0 down.....they made United look better than they are.
When Benitez was the boss these games were always full bloodied affairs.....players on both sides were never allowed time to dwell on the ball......yesterday Scholes and Giggs were given so much time that they could continue playing well into their seventies if they played Liverpool every week !
None of the 3 Liverpool-United matches this season have set the pulses racing and why on earth did Dalglish start with Downing instead of Bellamy ?
Bellamy is a big game player who usually does well against United.Downing was completely anonymous,as if he were in fear of being racially abused by Rafael ! 8)

The handbag schoolgirl affair I think will be resolved with club action

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17000125

Let the owners let the managers off the hook

The good devoted players are now being overshadowed by the louts who are paid too much and week management who succumb to the media pressures

Anybody remember the good old days? Cloughy type management, Grievesy behavior on and off the pitch. Maybe I'm getting too old to put up with this greedy, disloyal playground shite

Don`t drag Wenger into this stupid childish spat between two highly dislikable players. If Evra had ignored Suarez`s refusal to shake hands he would have won the moral high ground, as it is he made a big deal of it, this combined with his over the top celebrations at the end make him look as bad as Suarez.
As for Ferguson`s rant as to what LFC should do with Suarez and Dalglish`s attempt to defend the indefensible made them both look very stupid.
As for the match, Liverpool were rubbish, even Gerrard looked very ordinary.

Arsene Wengre is blind so has alot in common with this situation!

Dalglish and BaaBaa have treated Suarez with something approaching worship since he arrived at Anfield just over a year ago. :D

Well, as with BB, I think this whole pre-game handshake thing should be abolished, its phony tosh in any case. Far better to shake after the game, or not, as the case may be?

I think Dalgliesh had a point when he mentioned the media circus about this beforehand with everyone focussing on the handshake, rather than the main event. Do I care Suarez didn't shake Evra's hand? Not one little bit, it means nothing to me but clearly it did to one of them and personally, I can't say I blame him (Suarez).

But why has no-one commented on the highlight of the game? When Evra bore down on Suarez with what appeared serious intent to do the guy damage, only to find Ferdinand got there first, who suffered the brunt of Evras intent, which was hilarious and may have saved Evra a worse fate? Wonderful stuff. :)

Clearly the senior folk behind Liverpool have pulled rank and Dalgliesh and Suarez have fallen into line. It seems Kennys been on a steep learning curve as to how much things have changed since he was last involved. Its a world gone mad!

And I can't recall too many folk criticising Bridge over the Terry incident?

Anyway, the big bad for me, having finally emerged from my pit this morning, was learning that AVB is still in a job - now that is truly amazing news!

Caller, a non media stained opinion that shines through a load of complete and utter shit.

Patrick Barclay has admitted on twitter that the press were briefed at to which angle to take, by whom, he didn't say.

I think it's been a measured campaign, including 90 percent of the press, to slander Luis Suarez. Take the piss if you want but it all looks orchestrated to me.

I'd go into more detail but evidently everyone's bored of it, except the people that have to take the brunt of it.

And Ferguson trying to act as some bastion of light, the guys the biggest shithouse in football.

I have spoken at length with the Manager since the game at Old Trafford and I realise I got things wrong. I've not only let him down, but also the Club and what it stands for and I'm sorry. I made a mistake and I regret what happened. I should have shaken Patrice Evra's hand before the game and I want to apologise for my actions. I would like to put this whole issue behind me and concentrate on playing football.http://tl.gd/fse5sa  · Reply

You look at the table this morning and five teams at the bottom are within two points of each other. The race to save your life may be as exciting as the race at the top for the rest of the season. Pete
