A win tonight puts us three points behind Manure

A draw leaves it literally at status quo

IF we loose - then every cloud has a silver lining - it puts the Arse' at 7............................

Love footy

Both penalties were contentious. The foul by Cahill on Welbeck in the first half was much more clear cut but Webb didnt give it.BaaBaa. wrote:Agree BB, it was soft but just about a Pen. 2nd was laughable.
I agree 100%. Chelsea are a shadow of the side even from last season, but holding fourth and will clearly be there or thereabouts at the end.Zidane wrote:A cracking game to watch but it did show how much these two teams have declined in the last couple of seasons.
I'd go back to playing tiddly winks or hide and seek to get your entertainment as you obviously know jack shit about football!GLCQuantum wrote:Liverpool vs Spurs was the worst 90 minutes of footie I've seen this season. Bost sides were, to put it bluntly, CRAP! Nothing to comment on about the game really.... bloody boring 90 minutes. They looked like a couple of teams in the relegation zone.
Just read an interesting stat.... Liverpool's shots taken to goals scored ratio is the worst in the whole of the premier league. I think if they were to get themselves a natural goalscorer they may be a force to be reckoned with.
No just re-iterate you know little about football and as you previously stated do not watch every game, unlike me. Without our first choice team available and our bench unrecognisable and playing away at Liverpool who are unbeatan at Anfield and our record of winning maybe twice in 90 years there in the league, it was going to be hard and the point was well well deserved and hard fought. You cannot go gung ho every game my dear boy it's not like tiddly winks, you need nowse to be in the top half of the table something I believe you lack and comes with experience. To say you expected Spurs to be playing flowing football was a dream in this away game considering the circumstances, no Harry there also to guide them! But we nearly nicked all 3 points.GLCQuantum wrote:Haven't read any reports on the game yet. But I'm fairly sure they will be echoing my sentiments. Yes, some half decent defending (Dawson man of the match) but we are talking about a few good tackles throughout the game. We made ourselves a single chance throughout. Not exactly top quality football that. We couldn't move the ball around like we've been so used to watching this season. Bale played one of his worst games in a spurs shirt - he'll certainly wanna forget this one.
Jimmy Greaves, you barely comment on the match itself apart from....'Happy Days'. I think it's you who knows jack shit about football. Your post above was probably your longest ever - took a long time finding all those keys I bet.![]()
Second time you've attacked me on this thread old man..... anything else you wanna have a go at?
That's what I mean you know nothing bhoyyo. Excitement. Call yourself a spurs or even a football supporter. God help us!GLCQuantum wrote:Just scanned a report on the game....
'The biggest talking point of the first half was the fact a cat came on the pitch and scooted around for a bit — which said it all about the excitement level.'
Sorry, but I'm with JG on this one - all you're doing is displaying a lack of appreciation (note I didn't use the word "ignorance"GLCQuantum wrote:I understand what ya getting at Jimmy - I do, but will have to agree to disagree. If that was our match plan from the start... to park the bus and allow Liverpool to play 80% of the game in our half and defend then.... I guess it went perfectly![]()
Of course we can't always sweep the ball around like we have been in every game but we could at least try, couldn't we? We lacked everything this morning. IMHO it was our worst performance this season and the worst games of football I've watched (this season).
Only an opinion.
