As most know on the Forum, I'm not the greatest of Wendyball followers, however I have watched the odd match during the 2016 Euro's - Wales are after all playing!!

Having watched last night's game, have to say England played with nowhere near the passion of the Icelanders - sometimes with these guys (not just the English), it appears they think they just need to turn up and deserve to win. Also, the Iceland fans were superb - BIG, BIG hand to them :thumb: . They certainly deserved to win on the night.

Also seems a tad bizarre that Roy already had his resignation speech written out............ delivered minutes after the game.

Wales with Belgium up next......... think we might just be following the English lads back home! Though we did manage an extra game!! :neener:

Is GLC still proud that Spurs players formed the backbone of the team?

Interesting.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club to Sue FA.

Tottenham Hotspur FC has sensationally started legal proceedings against the Football Association of England. In light of the recent performance of an England team consisting of predominantly Tottenham Hotspur players, and the prior performances during the international competition, the team's board will be looking for damages for allowing the stock value of their players to be decreased dramatically over a period of weeks.

Furthermore, Tottenham Hotspur are apparently pursuing damages due to the possibility of significant loss of skill and talent, a direct result of bad management, which could ultimately result in an ineffective squad come the beginning of the Premier League 2016-2017 season. Daniel Levy is said to be concerned that his players will be unable to shake off the tactics and training styles imposed on them during a disastrous Euro campaign.

BBC Sport questioned Mauricio Pochettino, current Tottenham Hotspur manager, to hear his views on the situation.

"Legal matters of the club are not a part of my job", he said, "but I do not understand how a manager can be given 5 incredibly talented young players only to turn them into absolute shite in the space of a month. I hope we here at Tottenham Hotspur can undo whatever it is that Roy Hodgsen has done to them".

Many a true word spoken in jest. Whatever the reason, they'd struggle to hold a place in the Hua Hin City team.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

Remember it well

More recently and fresh in the mind is the acheivement of Leicester winning the PL.

Would be great to see a smaller nation like Iceland win the tournament . . . . . . just not Wales though

Fantastic performance by the Welsh boys - they rode their luck a bit at 2-1 in the last 10 minutes, but with 3 great goals and a wonderful team effort, a thoroughly deserved win. :thumb:

And no reason why they shouldn't beat the Portuguese, even without Ramsey.
