long term stay for Webster prof

Post by cxjej »

2 faculty from the States are teaching at Webster University this spring and need either two small basic apartments, rooms, suites, anything with AC, in Hua Hin center and (fingers crossed) internet. If anyone knows of such a place, please contact me at jjacobs@millikin.edu!

I'm sure there'll be plenty of accommodation, but are you aware that if you're living in central HH you'll be an awfully long way from Webster's Uni? (About 20 miles)
This is the way

We are aware of the distance. They have a bus that comes to Hua Hin regularly, so we'll have that for transportation.

Firstly, my apologies cxjej for intruding on your post.

Reference your comments regarding the Tanawit Hotel offering long stay 'terms' - do you have any idea what they charge for say a 1 month, or 3 months - or possibly longer?

If they have a website? - or a contact number? - I will make some direct enquiries.

However, thanks in anticipation if you're able to answer any of the above. :thumb:

You can book it online here: Tanawit Hotel

Only seems to have daily rates though.

Lots of Webster students staying at VIP Condo Chain .. between HH & Ca. It's not Hua Hin Center, but it's cheap and you can get internet easily.

Small rooms and large rooms, some good, some worn. Prices from Bt 6,000/mo + utilities at net.

Thanks Buksida for the link. As you say they are only quoting daily rates but I'm sure they woul dbe happy to discuss monthly or longer.

Thanks also Klikster for the info re VIP Condo Chain. With prices starting from around Bt 200 per night it sounds incredible value!! Great for anyone seeking a medium-long term budget stay in the HH area! :thumb:

Many students also get a long term rental at Him Nam Sai Suy which is on Phetkasem Road on the way to Webster (not Hua Hin Centre) rentals from between 7 to 12,000 THB per month.

Quiet right Jockey!!! Hin Mam Say SUay was usually frequented by Staford Studs cause onf it's short distance to Palm Hills and stuff.

Other Options would be Chuan CHom Residence near HUa Hin Airport. Cost of living around 6,000 to 10,00 Baht.
