I'm sorry to post this....but its funny in a peculiar way..Paris gets let out of jail..then she has to go back to see the judge..but is apparently reluctant to go back and see the judge........

Is the world laughing at America again ?..Can the rest of the world take this country seriously ? No........America has lost the respect of the world..and this case just reflects the way Americans think..if you have enough money..then the rest of you can f**k off......Lets hope the world moves forwards...kicks the Yanks in to touch..we don't need their Christian morals nor there way of life.......they will go the way of every empire , Romans, Greek, Chinese, British, Egyptians....in 100 years..they will have civil war between all the races that populate the country...its inevitable...

I can agree with your remarks about Paris Hilton! and the american way of thinking. I swear if she where Black or Latino Celebraty than the Police would kept her inside Jail for the whole 45 day period.
It's the fundametalistic Christian morals of "Amilanders" as the Germans call them Yanks that we don't need. As I was in the States around six months ago and expirienced their "Way of Life" @ first hand I can say: "There's really no need for their way of life!!!"
As for your prediction They will Bombing themselves silly in 100 years lets hope the world doesn't participate

Maybe there is just a little bit of justice left in America; apparently the original judge specified that Paris Hilton should serve her time in jail and never agreed to house arrest. Friday afternoon after a hearing she was returned to jail to serve out the 45 day sentence.

Now she gets what she deserves 45 days in Jail. I hope the other Woman inmates don't treat her as Harsh as they say they would in Jails in Southern California! Besides she's one of the best looking celebs around.

yes she is back inside alright & i expect there will be a queue of movie moguls lining up to make a film of her 'awful' time in custody.

Big jimmy, could you put new threads in appropriate sub forums, please? The last one I moved from "feeding time" & this one from "property". Apart from her father owning part of the Hua Hin beachfront, I can't see what Ms Hilton's shenanigans have to do with property...

Am I one of the few people on this earth who know nothing of this woman apart from her name, which pops up a lot.

I have no knowledge of why she is or isn't in prison and don't care either.

When I saw the thread title I thought it was to do with a certain French city.....

Poor little rich girl using daddy's money to get the shrink to say she is too ill to stay in the nasty prison! I say lock daddy and the shink up as well for trying to pervert the course of justice (sorry, trying is the wrong word - they've already done it).

Dawn, yes it is sad, but in my hotel CNN and MTV are the only channels I understand and it's hard to avoid this story. It's either that or RTL 4's relentless Dutch home improvement programmes that are like a visit to the dentist, and then people ask me why I spend so much time in the pub!

If I remember correctly, the lovely lady said she didn't read her mail. She had someone else do that.
So, she didn't realise she was banned from driving.

Putting people in prison is middle aged thinking. Prisons should only be used for protecting dangerous people from society. Is Paris Hilton a threat to society?

Yes she is Jockey...she violated her orginal sentence , banned from driving for 6 months...... caught driving three times while banned..so if society lets that go then what happens after that ?.do we let society break down and let people do what they want ?...thats anarchy in waiting.....people like Paris Hilton are role models for low educated low aspirational people..and sadly..they are they people who commit most crime...so yes..she is a danger to society ..she sets a bad example..." I can flout the law and get away with it "..I hope she comes out of this a changed person..but I doubt it...
