Well my micro climate did get some light rain although I missed it while having a pee.
Must have lasted less than 5 mins.

Thundershowers on the menu for the weekend and most of next week for the east, Bangkok area and Hua Hin. We just had a bone jarring storm here in the east at midnight lasting for an hour, and that particular storm is now rolling west over the gulf towards HH.

Looking forward to the revived greenery and cleaner air. :D

According to Google's weather content provider (whom I find as accurate as any other if not more so).... highest chance of rain in HH today is between 5 and 8 pm

As of 10 am ish it certainly isn't looking like a normal day out there

Yesterday the forecast for this morning (on Accuweather) was predicting rain starting by 7-8am, but that changed overnight and this morning I woke to blue skies, but over the past few hours increasingly grey skies have formed and it’s now looking as though the wet stuff won’t be too long in coming, which will give the garden a much needed drink!!

Yes, drove down to the lake this morning and the weatherman was saying the chance of a shower late afternoon. Halfway around the lake for the second time this month when the heavens opened. Not as heavy as last time, but still enough to soak me through

The Soi 94 weather station is unavailable for comment as it usually doesn't open until 09.30! Image

Edit: it's about to smash it down, visibility to the South is down to about 1km, very low cloud

Bloody hell! I don't remember seeing such a storm. Torrential rain and high winds. My garden furniture is blowing all over the place.

My 'micro-climate' has been smashed.

Like others, we had torrential rain earlier this morning in Soi 106. Still coming down steadily now, though not so hard.

According to my weather app, there could be more heavy rain mid-afternoon.
