My booster did not appear until 2 days after my QR Code was received, which as you point out took several days to arrive.

The free option was supposed to end on 31 December. However, when I ordered my booster update, Free was still an option, so I thought I'd try it. It accepted. IMHO they were a bit slow in removing the option.

Guys and Gals,

Do we know when the next walk in is at Bluport?

A friend has missed today's session due work commitments

Think she had Sinopharm/Sinopharm 1 & 2

TIA

If your friend has registered and is on the list at the link in my previous post then she should be able to attend on the appropriate date for the booster she is registered for (maybe?).

If she is not registered she could try a walk-in for the booster she's supposed to get for her 1st/2nd shot combo.

Anyone who registered with HHH for Moderna yesterday can check if they were successful by looking at https://datastudio.google.com/s/jQpQDkm_yjU. Apparently this was oversubscribed so success not guaranteed.

Mods: Posted on both vaccine and booster thread because registration was for both initial course and booster course.

Thailand Rolls Out Fourth Covid Shot in Popular Tourist Spots
Thailand is ramping up the rollout of fourth Covid-19 shots to residents in its tourism-dependent regions as the nation gears up for border reopening next month.

Authorities are offering AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines in Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi and seven other provinces to those who have received their third dose at least three months ago, the health ministry said. The Southeast Asian nation has already administered more than 800,000 fourth doses, mostly to healthcare workers and those in high-risk groups, official data showed.

Thailand is among a short list of countries including Chile and Israel that are offering the fourth shot.

Had my booster this morning, courtesy of the Thonburi Health Group here in Bangkok. I had Moderna, initially purchased when Thailand and vaccines were two words that didnt go together. The timing of its availability was perfect for the booster after 2 AZ jabs courtesy of the Thai Health Service. No reaction so far, but only 4 hours and 20 minutes since the jab.

Of interest was that to make people remain for the full 30 minute recovery, post jab, they took your ID away, in my case my passport, and you had to take a ticket and then wait for your number to be called to be released. When you went to collect your ID to leave, you also collected your fully completed vaccine certificate, reduced to half A4 size, with the 3 jabs all being shown.

Anyone still wanting, and entitled to, a booster shot and not registered may like to know that walk-in is available on 2nd - 4th February. The graphic shows AZ and Pfizer shots available on walk-in in the afternoons between 1pm and 2.30pm.

Number of shots available is as shown (300, 150, 120).

The second row (pink) is at the Red Cross near HH Tessaban.

More info is available on HHH FB page facebook.com/pagehuahinhospital/

I know most people will have made alternative arrangements now, but I've been told BCC are offering 3rd shot boosters.

There was an announcement on our local speaker network a few days ago, announcing a walk-in vaccine facility a few kms from our house. We current have my wife’s 86 year old mother staying with us who was unvaccinated - she’s now had her first dose of AZ. Also a friend of my wife helping to look after her mother who normally lives in Bangkok and had received two doses of Sinovac but had no certificate with her, came with us and they gave her an AZ booster vaccine no problem. And the whole process including the waiting time was 1.1/2 hours - can’t ask for much more than that!!

Apologies if this is common knowledge, but I've only just been made aware in the last 10 minutes.

Mor Prom actually holds the date of injection 4 - Mrs BB and I are 9th Feb. My son was 14th January, so we have to find out what to do about that.

To find it, you need to tap COVID-19 Vaccination Records. Scroll down to Dose 3 and tap it. If you scroll down the page, near the bottom is your date for dose 4.

Can somebody please confirm I'm not talking bollox. My daughter, who made me says she read about it on the Hua Hin Hospital Facebook Page. It all seems a bit quick to me.

I got 3 x emails yesterday (3 people) from BCCT. Anyone who had their jabs through them probably have the same mail.
Basically it asks you to book your booster through them. They do point out that boosters will not be given before 6 months from your second AZ jab in line with AZ recommendations.
The booster will be Pfizer or AZ. You have the choice.

It may work as you say BB for those who have had 3, but it doesnt for us who have only had 2. It’s a dead end at 2.

Edit: Thats concerning Pfizer
