Burnley/Watford postponed today. Assume it's due to more covid outbreaks. The Premier league have rejected Leicester and Tottenham's appeals to postpone tomorrow's game. The show must go on apparently.

So Tottenham will be throwing together somewhat of a B team to play with the likes of Doherty, Lo Celso, Ndombele and Bergwijn all likely starters.

Leicester will play with not a single central defender available.

On current form, that probably won’t be of much help to Harry Kane!!

Aston Villa vs Burnley cancelled. I waited until 10 minutes before the deadline to do transfers with my fpl team and then did two transfers (-4). When reloading the page, they had cancelled the Villa match. Of course the other of my transfers was a Villa player. :guns: I think a lot of games will be cancelled during the festive season, which usually is the best time to watch the matches as it's vacation time.

One team, bottom of the form table over last 9 games, had 11 first team players out this week through injury, more than any so called covid hit team had out.

However, they didn't play the covid card, went to the home of the current European Champions, played some players who had never played a single minute for the 1st team before, and got a solid point.

Not that the MSM will bother telling you that...

Tottenham have Dele and Winks in charge of bossing the midfield against Liverpool today. Give me strength. Gonna be a long game.

Well, I take my cynicism back for now. They've both played great. We could have two or three goals at least but we could also be a man down (Kane) and a penalty awarded against us (looked a penalty to me).

Let's hope we can keep up the pace in the 2nd half. Cracking game!

What a game! Tottenham were the better team, should have won. Conte has us playing with swagger again. Liverpool 2nd goal was a handball. Shouldn't have stood, but suppose it balanced out their penalty that wasn't given.

Cracker!

I only watched the highlights but it looked like a good game with chances galore at both ends - a draw was probably a fair result if you’re a neutral.

I'm certainly no expert in the world of Wendyball, but after watching the full game, thought Kane should have been handed a Red Card, which could well have changed things. Seemed Liverpool struggled in mid-field and defence(?), but Spurs missed a shed-load of chances. From memory Kane and Son had something like 10 or 12 very clear chances, but scored just 2.... Ho Hum.

Seems on balance Spurs should have nicked it, but just couldn't finish.
