Just watching the Scotland Czech game. As a patriotic Brit I wish Scotland all the good fortune the Scots bestow upon England when we play.

Think it's probably safe to say the goal of the competition has already been won. Can't see anyone topping that.

Very possibly, but not necessarily. As a number of doctors have pointed out, although most collapses of this kind in young, fit athletes turn out to be due to an undiagnosed, often congenital heart defect, it's also possible that it could be due to a bacterial or viral infection leading to myocarditis.

For instance if Eriksen had suffered an earlier bout of CoVid-19 (even an asymptomatic one) it could have caused heart muscle inflammation that, even if it led to a life-threatening condition in the shorter term, might be fully resolvable over time. Here's hoping.

Portugal/Hungary will have a full capacity crowd today - 61,000.

Gonna be bloody nice to see, that. A reminder of the olden times. :D

What do they call what the French did, "Park the bus"? I fell asleep. I guess the pundits will say it was lovely tactical match.

I only got into it during the second half, and then nodded off.

Well that would have been about 3 o’clock in the morning Thai time, so that’s not surprising!!

I thought the French were very good. Can't remember Lloris being troubled in goal. Controlled the game. Once they got the goal, they had no need to go out with guns blazing. With Mbappe on the pitch and Kante pickpocketing everyone as the defensive midfielder, they're the perfect team to sit back and hit on the counter.

Go a goal behind against the French and you're gonna have a hard time coming back from it. I'm still sticking with Portugal for the win but the French are definitely my second choice

Also heard during the commentary, t-shirts are available with the slogan '' 70% of the earth is covered by water, the rest is covered by N'Golo Kante'' :thumb:
