One for us Dumbocrats, definitely not one for the Republitards..

Bombshell(downloaded from Piratebay)

A group of women take on Fox News head Roger Ailes and the toxic atmosphere he presided over at the network.

John Lithgow gives a fine performance as groper Roger.

If you want more also have a looksee at the TV Mini-series The Loudest Voice

Seven-part limited series about Roger Ailes, the founder of Fox News. It focuses on the past decade which Ailes arguably became the Republican Party's de facto leader and the sexual harassment accusations that brought his career to an end.

Russell Crowe this time admirably portrays Ailes

At the moment only available on Netflix

The Coldest Game

Set amidst the backdrop of the Cuban missile crisis..
Playing a major chess match in Warsaw against the Russian champion, brilliant but forgotten former US champion, and alcoholic, Josh Mansky is sucked into the world of espionage and conflict between the world's superpowers. As the military crisis escalates the chess match takes on unimaginable importance. The Americans are in danger of losing both games - the chess game and the one for world domination.

Bill Pullman gives a fine performance and there is an interesting message about the two buffoons currently in residence at the White House and Kremlin

Amazed at "Best Picture"..... If it's taken 1917, must be worth a look, but I think it's somewhat political. Still yet to see "Joker" or "Judy".

Will definitely download "Parasite"... Must be worth a watch!

Maybe not for everyone but Edward Norton gives a fine performance as a Private Investigator suffering from Tourettes Syndrome in this Film Noir

I was listening to it last night, and I think that's its problem. Perhaps trying to be a bit too deep and meaningful? Though I suppose that fits in with the exit of Craig's Bond...
Whatever else it may be, it certainly isn't a catchy little belter that's going to feature on karaoke CDs! ("Gooold-FIN-gerrrrrr!!)

Those of a certain age will remember where they were when the Challenger Space Shuttle exploded. This 2019 version wont win many awards but it does, IMO, give a insight into what went on in the background prior to launch. Downloaded from the usual suspects.

Mods,

Perhaps you could change to title of this thread to Movies on DVD and download.

Personally I haven't bought a DVD in over 10 years
