Yes you can. I've done 24 hour reporting 3 or 4 times at Bluport in the last few months.
:) Thank you.

Take the form with you. Bluport might not have it.
You don't need to take any forms with you when you go to the BlúPort Immigration office. They supply the forms for all the services they provide. They used to have them in little cubby holes near where you get the numbers but now they just provide them for you (and fill them out for you) at the desk.

No, the TM30 is to be completed by the owner, landlord (or manager of a commercial accommodation) to report any foreigner staying at their property, within 24 hours of their arrival. The possessor (i.e. tenant) can also file a TM 30 report on their own behalf when they arrive back at their permanent address, especially after a trip abroad.

In your case, as Big Boy says, you should use the TM28, which is the form for a person to report a permanent change of home address.

Good evening all.
We are currently having a great time on Kho Lanta.

I haven’t bothered trawling this thread but surely it doesn’t apply to those who have entered on a tourist visa,

Bangkok
Hua hin
Bangkok
Krabi
Kho Lanta
Krabi
Bangkok
Karnchanaburi
Bangkok
Then back to HH

I only gave imm my HH address.

Cheers

I don't understand, why doesn't it apply to those on a tourist visa?

The only thing you have to understand is you are in Thailand. Logic doesn't always apply.

Because wherever you stay, be it a private house or a hotel, guest house or under a tree, the "possessor" (owner) of the place is liable to report your presence.

but you could have a tourist visa and stay in your own place - then you should register yourself..

I don't know if I chose a bad day for 90 Day Report at Bluport today, but the guy in front of me got hammered on the TM30 thing. The Immigration Officers (IO) had a mini conference to decide what needed to happen. I think his was a double whammy (hotel hadn't reported either), and he was sent away to get confirmation of his stay from his hotel. I think his address was recorded as Bangkok. No fine was issued while I was there.

I stepped up, and the IO immediately printed my next notification date, but whilst printing, went through my passport until she found my TM28.

Sorry, I don't follow this. :? If he was staying in a hotel why was he reporting his address? Whatever the reason, another good reason to stay away from ANY immigration office and report your 90 days online.

As an aside I had to get a certificate of residence to renew my drivers licence in Hua Hin on Monday this week. It was not until a couple of days later that I discovered that they had stapled in a slip of paper(no TM number on it), that reads "notified change of address". My immigration address is Hua Hin, but my old 5 year licence had my Bangkok Condo address on it. Nothing was said about it, but I assume that they just read the old licence. Very strange!

He was there for his 90 day report, and was asked where he was living because the computer said he wasn't living in Hua Hin. The 90 Day report is "Form for Alien to Notify of Staying Longer than 90 days" which confirms your place of residence.

[Edit] Probably different IOs doing things differently as usual. However, they were adamant he get something from his current hotel, and I've just remembered he was told to go back with a handwritten map.

One other observation, the Bluport Office was not the happy place it was originally - not today, anyway.

Strangely enough I happen to know what a 90 day report is! :rasta:
And now he is going to be on a black list and have to report when he goes back to Bangkok! Now and for every more.
Like I already posted: stay away from the ****s as much as possible!

A friend (on retirement extension) moving down here from Chiang Mai and ask me to check which Immigration Office to go to when reporting permanent new address in a Hua Hin condo. I have myself used Blue port for Tm.28 but not sure if they also handle Tm.30 ?

Thank you
