Hmmmm......................... 2 entries this week. Do we need to rest the competition for a few months?

Honestly IMO, yes. I would let it rest until the New Year, with the proviso that if someone, anyone, stumbles upon a fantastic photo with great possibilities, just post it on here and let it rip. At worst it will be ignored. At best you'll see the response and can judge overall ongoing interest in the competition.

For you to have to ask and remind generates a response from our regulars out of allegiance perhaps, never anyone new comes to the call. So be it. The circle of forum life. Pete

A very slow start to this week's competition, although it did pick up at the 11th hour. I'll let the competion continue for a further week to see how it goes. Maybe this week's photo, which I though was quite good, was just too hard to think of an appropriate caption,
