My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Re: Which Mobile Phone?
This will be an interesting combo of devices if it comes to fruition. Samsung has filed a patent on a laptop (shell; screen and keyboard) that is powered by a docked Galaxy Note phone whose screen also serves as a touchpad of sorts. An interesting and novel idea indeed...

The company that refuses to die? I can remember the time when Blackberry devices were more popular and numerous than IPhone. Pete

Microsoft have recently released the Lumia 950 and 950xl both which connect to any display with a dock.
With the use of a Bluetooth mouse, you have a functional windows 10 computer that can browse the web, create office documents, and run All software currently on your phone in a familiar computer environment....sounds good to me.
Re: Which Mobile Phone?
I really wouldn't recommend Windows Phone / Mobile. Could of possibly succeeded if Microsoft hadn't neglected it for so long. Continuum also seems quite pointless to me, and lacks support from almost all apps - https://blog.imason.com/windows-phone-c ... snt-ready/
Re: Which Mobile Phone?
I haven't even figured a use for my MS tablet... it just sits and gathers dust. I would get an android one if I got another.
Speaking of mobile phones, I'm always behind the curve and didn't even have a smart phone until a relative gave me his old Samsung S2 when he upgraded to an S5 but recently my S2 died. I didn't want to spend the money for a new flagship so I got an new unlocked Galaxy S5 (last years Samsung flagship) for half it's original price. It is a giant leap forward from my S2 and I really like it so far.
So an idea for those of you who have a phone that is several years old and want a new one but don't want to plunk down the big bucks. Get a model year old (new) flagship phone and it will still seem like a huge upgrade. I think I like the S5 better than I would the S6 because it has three features I like that they dropped in the latest model. A replaceable battery, water resistance, and expandable storage.

Re: Which Mobile Phone?
I have had the Samsung galaxy s6 edge+ for a couple of months now and it's a nice step forward from the s5.
The only thing that concerns me is that it has a built in battery so not sure if you could ever replace.
That said most people upgrade after 18months nowadays so perhaps it's no longer an issue.

Re: Which Mobile Phone?
^ Shops can replace the built in batteries, at least on Apple products. We did it on an IPhone 4 and it's working well a year later. I don't recall if the replacement is a certified Apple battery or other...as long as it works and doesn't explode or burn.

Re: Which Mobile Phone?
I havea Nokia that is 17 yeras old, not 17moths, 17 years. The Nokia people love me, they have serviced it for free for the last 7 years and as it has to got to Finland for service they give me a new phone as a loaner for free AND everytime they have a launch or party they invite me. And they beg me to keep using it. One time they came and filmed me using it, there was a plan to use it in an advertisement, if they did I never saw it.
I dont tel them but I do have a newer Samsung that I use ona daily basis.

Re: Which Mobile Phone?
I have come to the conclusion that mobile phone sales in Hua Hin are a cartel. My daughter wants a particular phone for her birthday, and the price in every shop in Hua Hin that we've tried is identical. I check Lazada, and the price is 1,000 Baht less. If I go to the next model down, there is actually a 2,000 Baht difference between Hua Hin shops and Lazada.
A few months ago, I bought 2 tablets from a Hua Hin shop. At the time, the cartel price was 1,500 more than Lazada. At that time, I showed the Lazada price, and they matched it. I've tried the same with my daughter's phone, and they won't budge on the price.
Lazada take 2 days, are door to door, and offer C.O.D., so no prizes for guessing where my daughter's birthday present will come from.

No my 17 yr old Nokia is the same size as the modern600b phones. My very first mobile then called a 'cell phone' in about 1988 or 89 was the size o fa brick, no way uou could put it in any pocket. Just did calls-- nearly $2000
Re: Which Mobile Phone?
The monster on the left was my first phone (just found on Google Images) - issued by my employer.
