If you see a doctor, its the excption rather than the rule - in my experience if you've managed to walk in they deem you fit - I think any clinic will issue you the relevant letter, they do it all the time.m_right wrote:Where can I go to get doctors certificate? Any recommendations for a clinic in Hua Hin. Last time I did it I found a clinic in little town in rice country where I just gave them 100 Baht. Didn't even have to see the doctor.

You can have mine, seeing as how the igorant old biddy at Cha Am threw it back at me!Dannie Boy wrote:If you see a doctor, its the excption rather than the rule - in my experience if you've managed to walk in they deem you fit - I think any clinic will issue you the relevant letter, they do it all the time.m_right wrote:Where can I go to get doctors certificate? As posted, any small clinic will do it for between 80 and 100 Baht. I got one at a small clinic a few shops north of the old shoping mall on Petchkasem Rd. I don`t think it opens until 5-00 pm, as do a lot of them.

May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!

My challenge now is to find a clinic. I have used a clinic on Petchkasem north of Hua Hin shopping mall but a long time ago. I will look around there. I can't recall seeimng any others around town. Finding places like clinics is becoming more of a challenge for me with traffic and parking becoming almost too much for me.

One that I know of, if your travelling from the 1st set of traffic lights in HH heading towards Cha Am, turn right into Chomsin road at the second set of lights, then turn first right again and about 100 metres or less there's a turning on your right and there's a big clinic on your left about 20 metres in. There is parking there also, but it tends to get busy at peak hours.m_right wrote:My challenge now is to find a clinic. Went to this one today. 50 Baht.
I was going to try the other one near Hua Hin shopping mall next.
Thanks to those who answered my requests for info. Hua Hin Forum does it again.

What is the name of the Clinic on Chomsin Rd, referred to in the previous series of posts? I am in the process of applying for Thai driver's license and doing my research at the moment.
Many thanks

Driver Licence in Cha Am
Where is the Driver Licence office in Cha Am? I heard that it is much more friendlier than Pranburi.

Re: Driver Licence in Cha Am
You are correct that it is generally found to be more user-friendly than the one in Pranburi, however the location question has been asked and answered a number of times - have you tried doing a search?Elaine wrote:Where is the Driver Licence office in Cha Am?
