A video of the incident has been released (I won't post it here, but can be found on YouTube), so the authorities have all of the evidence they need. However, if the crazy gang was being led by a hi-so politician....................... TIT :banghead:

I made a generalized comments about Prachuabs fans, which was not fair and apologise for that, but what I do know if there no action to be taken on these idiots ,whatever club there from, it will not be the last time they do this.
yes its unfair to the rest of your fans, but some of you must know these idiot and will you do something about that,I doubt it.
I'm not saying that you know any of them, but somone must for sure.
I have no hold or sway over the club or their fans, I'm just a farang that likes the way Prachuap FC plays football and the camaraderie and warm welcome we always get when we go to support them. All I have done here is impartially report what I have seen on the day.

Can any one of us living here even begin to think that we can make a difference?

But they were just stealing the pitch/goalposts. They were not pysically attacking the England Football Team.

Anywhere else in the world this would be assault/GBH.

buksida wrote:Started going through the pics, the whole affair was triggered by Hua Hin's number 6 elbowing one of the Prachuap players right infront of the away box, the ref didn't see it and awarded the free kick to Hua Hin.
I've just watched the incident on this video, and the referee was quite right. The elbow was retaliation for a synical foul, aimed at more time wasting. No, he shouldn't have retaliated, but Prachuab's gamesmanship was very frustrating, lying down everytime a hair was knocked out of place. However, it should have been left to the officials to deal with.

The worst bit I can see is the Prachuab sponge man attacking Owusu - that guy should be banned from football. There is no mistake that he was aiming to do significant damage to a professional football, and as a medical man?, I guess he knew exactly what he was doing. There is no wonder Owusu went into hiding.

I had calmed down until I saw what the spongeman had done. This was after earlier gamesmanship by the bench when they ran on to kick the ball away from a Hua Hin player wanting to take a quick throw in.

The animal element were supposedly the influence of drink. What excuse does the Prachuab back room team have?

Thanks for the link BB.
Asyou I'm moe calm now but still frustrated over what should have been a nice day out which I had looked forward to for a long time, but it should not be.
Back in DK now and will hope some action will be taken, if not I'm sure these idiots will do it again and other will follow if there no punishment given.I will however come and enjoy some footies in our new stadium if its finish when I return in marts.

I thought they were meeting the other day to discuss the events of Sunday. Surely they can`t be still there!! If the Thai Football League were represented I am hoping they also discussed the crap referees that seem to be given the Hua Hin City FC games to show if they can "man up"!! Most have failed miserably. They are a total disgrace. They make up the offside rule as they see fit and the foul throws I have witnessed that they have allowed is just embarrassing. No wonder they are still in the dark ages and nobody takes Thai football seriously!! Having said that I have been really impressed by Thai National team who are playing the game as it should be played. Most of them are still teenagers. They are a credit to Thailand. Some teams in Division 2 should start taking note and learn how to play the game properly!!

They make up the offside rule as they see fit
And it isn't just against Hua Hin. Last Sunday, there were 2 Hua players at least 2 yards goalside of the Prachuab player when the ball was kicked. As the linesman flagged for offside, my friend and I turned to each other and simultaneously asked, "How was that offside?"
the foul throws I have witnessed that they have allowed is just embarrassing
I think I've mentioned this before. My son plays for a local, mainly farang side. I have seen the usual ref take control at Fort Thanarat. My son's team is regularly penalised for foul throws, while Thais seem to get away with murder. They confronted the ref after the match one week, and asked why? He then demonstrated how a throw in should be taken in Thailand. 9 times out of 10 it would be considered a foul throw in the rest of the world.

As far as I know, Thai Football does not strictly play to FIFA rules :?

Dundrillin, I see you are still stuck in the dark ages aswell. That so called pitch invasion was in 1977. Fortunately, things seem to have progressed somewhat in the UK since those days, but sadly this incident has rekindled the memories of all the troubles I have seen over the years with the likes of Hysel Stadium, Hillsborough, Ibrox and also the violence at the Hearts/Hibs games. In all the years I have watched football I have never seen supporters attacking players before and these things could have sparked all sorts of trouble. There were ladies and small children who witnessed it and could have been caught up in it and who will now be reluctant to let their children go back. Lessons have got to be learned otherwise before we know it we will be caged like animals, have early kick-offs to stop the drinkers and also the possibility of supporters being banned from away grounds.

It is a wonder you didn`t hear me shouting profanities at the referee and asking if he wanted to borrow my glasses, Big Boy. I was standing right behind you after all. Bloody hell. if I could see it from where I was sitting what is his excuse!! They seem to only have a basic knowledge of the game and they don`t meet any standard at all - let alone FIFA`s. Someone, somewhere has got to start taking notice of what is going on and do something constructive. Oh, by the way, if Prachuab and Phichit are promoted what is the point of them playing Sukhotai and Thai Honda? By the way I have seen Thai Honda a couple of times on tv and I am so glad we didn`t have to play them. What they should really be doing is streamlining the leagues and moving into the 21st Century!!

I think the idea is to rank the teams 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th - probably prize money??

Surprised I didn't hear you? I think they could hear you in Bangkok :D

Even streamlining to 4 leagues as suggested will be a huge strain on 2nd Division teams. Not every team is as rich as Hua Hin. It would involve additional travel, overnight stays etc. Even as a travelling supporter, it put a lot of strain on me. 1,600 Km round trips are no joke. I don't suppose Prachuab are really looking forward (financially) to the additional expense of life with the big boys.

Ha ha ha. Being a farang at these games puts us at a distinct disadvantage especially when it comes to shouting and swearing. I must stand out a mile with a Scottish accent!! I like the comment about Prachuab. They are not the best side I have seen and I think they will struggle in that Division. Hua Hin may be a "rich" club but there is no point being rich and stuck in the bowels of Division 2. On top of that and the restructuring it is going to be even harder to get out of it. There are no guarantees. Look at Glasgow Rangers - they have dug themselves a huge hole and really struggling to get out of it!! The important thing for Hua Hin is to keep our better players for next season, but we also need to strengthen especially up front. Kitsana just doesn`t do it for me. He spent most of the game on his backside after losing the ball and he squanders too many chances. By the way, was the crowd verified as 5500 on Sunday. That is a brilliant turnout for the 2nd Division although I am sure that Thai Honda must get bigger crowds.
