Maybe not as big as you think. We do share a fan base. Did you notice the Prachuab shirts amongst us yesterday?

Regarding next weeks game, TIT. Group A and Group B games have been alternating between Saturday and Sunday each week, and that trend goes on through to the end of the Champions League, except for next week. The assumption would be that next week's game should be on Sunday. However, Thailand being Thailand, it is SATURDAY 22 Nov 14 :?

Well, that was an entertaining game yesterday with plenty of incidents! Not sure I've much to add to the match reports already given. I think Hua Hin are a far superior team to them, I'm never entirely comfortable watching them, though, always worried they'll go into self destruct mode at the back!

1 thing that doesn't seem to have been picked up on or discussed very much was the incident with their number 13 in the first half, he'd been clipped from behind, and in frustration turned round and elbowed our guy(no.30?) in the throat, it could easily have done serious damage and he should have been off the field for it! I'd hoped to see it again but it's not in the highlights.

Big Boy mentioned the controversial offside given just before half time and it was indeed a truly terrible, shocking decision! It did indeed upset the locals, BB you mentioned a couple of fans calming others down but i was creasing myself laughing at the P.A tannoy guy, he was pleading over and over for everybody to please calm down, stating enough already! Calm down etc! Over and over. Must've been worried about us getting in trouble i guess.

Good to get the win though, group very much tightening up now..... Halfway point and tough to call.... If we are to clinch a top 2 spot, i suspect we'll have to do something we've not done thus far... Pick something up away from home. Next week is definitely a good opportunity to do so because, as i say, i think we're a far superior team to them. Fingers crossed anyway!

Yes, you could easily have written a book regarding No.13, but I summarised it as, "The Phichit number 13 (who was a very dirty player in his own right)." This is why I said it will be a grudge match next week, and Owusu (No.30) can be a very dirty player in his own right - that is, if No.13 plays of course. He was sent off, which earns him a ban. The fact he chose to stay on the pitch, and the referee and his officials chose not to notice yesterday is irrelevant. The sending off should have been recorded by the officials. Don't forget, ALL Hua Hin matches attract a 5th official as well because of consistent bad refereeing, and resultant crowd trouble. I hope it is all in the 5th official's report.

As stated above, it isn't a laughing matter - we are already in trouble. I've mentioned this 5th official several times in my reports - he's at all home and away games, and enters the stadium immediately behind the 4 main officials. I am sure Hua Hin are living on borrowed time, and further trouble could see us out of the competition. I summed this up in yesterday's report as, " I noticed at half time, when the crowd were a little boisterous, he produced a camera and started filming them."

The next 2 weekends sees us having to travel 2000 miles, with a home game against BCC Tero on the Wednesday in between. This is going to be a tough test for all teams, with travel, injuries and bookings being an issue. Hua Hin have a strong set of squad players to supplement the main team (3 squad players yesterday). Hopefully, the stronger squad will start to pay dividends.

I have to admit guys that I was involved in the crowd disturbances at half time and at full time. I apologise whole-heartedly for my outbursts. The 5th official surely cannot miss what all the others seem to have missed. I was totally gobsmacked at the totally inept performance of that referee. His assistants were just as bad making blatant errors with the offside calls, the elbow incident mentioned by sabai sabai and also not informing the referee that the Phichit number 13 had been red carded after the treatment to Stephens, but allowed the game to continue with Phichit still having 11 men on the pitch. I have seen some bad decisions from the officials in all the games I have been to but NOTHING like what I saw on Saturday. If I noticed it and I do not have perfect eyesight, what are their excuses. He cannot be allowed to referee another game after that and Hua Hin have every right to demand the powers that be replay the video and act accordingly on it. Once again I apologise for venting my anger but I feel it was totally justified. The video camera doesn`t lie..........

No need to apologize Davy, your outburst were only verbal. Its the idiots who give the ref a beer shampoo without first opening the tin that they're trying to catch.

They certainly don`t care about the away supporters at these places do they! What possible reason do they have to have a kick-off at 6pm on a Saturday evening when the away fans have a round trip of over 600 kilometers to see their team play? At least we were a bit more civilised having the kick-off at 3.30 at Fort Thanarat!!

Being a Green Army fan, and having experienced the likes of Carlisle, Newcastle, Sunderland, Hartlepool, Middleborough, Darlington, Huddersfield (19:30 K.O. in a blizzard) etc, etc, Phichit will be a doddle :D

Udon Thani? That's a bit too far, so we're flying.

Being a Green Army fan you will be well accustomed to going on these fruitlessly long journeys to see your team well beaten, especially to Hartlepool, and then having to endure a 6 hour journey home in silence!! I was brought up there with the likes of Brian Clough - who was my Grandad`s office boy - and John McGovern. Oh, happy days!! The travelling for these Thai games though is totally ludicrous. Big Boy, you will remember when they had a Division 3 North and Division 3 South and even one of the "mickey mouse" cup competitions - I think it was the Johnston Paints Trophy - where the games were localised. Most of these Thai teams are operating on a very tight budget and trips like Udon require an overnight stay and an extra day of the bus hire etc could cause severe financial problems for them. One week you are in Udon and the next week down passed Surat Thani. If Hua Hin City do eventually get promoted they will have to endure these longer trips to play much better teams. I remember you telling me before that there are plans to make it easier to get from Div 2 to Div 1 because the structure of the Leagues is totally bizarre. But hey, This is Thailand!!

It's not looking promising for tomorrow.

Sat eating our evening meal in Phichit, and in walk the team and management. Being delighted to see the 3 of us there, the chairman and manager sat down and had a bit of a chat. We're 5 key players down tomorrow; 4 through injury and 1 suspended.

They didn't name names, but players we didn't see were Lampty, Stephens, Kanchit, Kissana and Wongsawad. IMHO the 3 best defenders in the league might be missing.

Here's hoping I'm wrong.

I thought as i was not going up to Phichit, I would take a look at SiamSport and the Thai Honda game. It seems that they have problems paying their electricity bill with the referee taking the players off after 25 minutes. The floodlights seem to all working but the lighting in the seated area where the cameras were was in darkness. Just saying. We are Hua Hin, we cheer Hua Hin!!
