Hua Hin City FC
Re: Hua Hin City FC
Yes, squeaky bum syndrome aside, the only difficult match should be at Petchaburi in 3 week's time (they beat us at home, even though we well outplayed them). They are also in the top 4, and promotion is still in their sights as well.
Hopefully we can put some space between us and the rest this weekend.

Re: Hua Hin City FC
It is very unusual that a team is named more than 24 hours before a game. Surely we have to leave it until the last possible minute especially when are main players are not mentioned. Hopefully it doesn`t backfire on us and if it does the Coach is should be shown the door!!

Re: Hua Hin City FC
I thought it looked a bit funny with a lot of unfamiliar faces in the line-up. How did we get on today?
Re: Hua Hin City FC
Krung Thonburi 0 - 2 Vana Nava Hua Hin City
Just 3 more matches, and Hua Hin are riding high.
A similar side to last week, but Theerawat was replaced by number 5 (one of the newish signings, so I don't know his name
).
Hua Hin started very brightly, to the extent my friend and I were joking about double figures. however, the longer the game went without a goal, the more confident Krung Thonburi were becoming.
It wasn't until midway through the second that Sutin blasted the ball into the net. Krung Thonburi's heads went right down after the goal, and the victors were a certainty. However, it took a mystery penalty to secure the win. I'm assuming it was an off the ball incident. Fortunately, all of Krung Thonburi's home matches are captured on video, so the mystery will be resolved. Stephens converted the spot kick.
Man of the match for me was Stephens. His reading of every situation is incredible, and his last minute tackling superb. As Krung Thonburi were growing in confidence, it was Stephens repeatedly maintaining a clean sheet.
Anucha and Kissana are still enjoying their love affair, and passing the ball to each other. However, Anucha must have had one of the worst games I have seen him have. His running on the ball, and clever passes are usually a major feature of Hua Hin's play. Today, he just had a stinker - he kept running into the opposition, and his passing awful (I know people like to find fault with his game, but this was really his worst of the season). Everybody has an off day, and I'm not too concerned. Kissana, on the other hand, IMO had one of his better games, but still can't score.
One other to mention in dispatches, Yongsak ran tirelessly again today until he was taken off injured.
Basically an average performance, and the result probably flattered us. If you can win your bad games, the future must look bright.
Next week is home to NONTHUMBURI on 6 Sept 14 @ 16:00hrs.

Re: Hua Hin City FC
Sometimes you just have to grind out a result when so many players are having an off day, but there really is something about this team. They are hard to score against, work tirelessly, create lots of chances and we can defend when he have to. Well done to the guys. It is a great result even though the performance was a bit jaded. Hopefully the Muangkan/Singburi result gives us a little gap at the top. Roll on Saturday and the next of 3 more Cup Finals.

Today's important result:
That result leaves us top, 2 points ahead of Singburi in 2nd and 3 points ahead of Muangkan in 3rd.
3 games to go.

Re: Hua Hin City FC
Whoops, sorry guys, I didn't realise, but Samut Sakhon have sneaked up on the rails, and are 2nd= with Singburi, which leaves Muangkan, who have been top for most of the season 4th.

Now I'm really confused - Phetburi are 2nd=, not Singburi. So what the hell happened to Singburi's challenge, and where have Phetburi come from?
