Ha ha ha!! You and me both, Big Boy. I have noticed a farang chap that is normally there with about 2 or 3 others that sits about 5 rows back from the "band". I have a home shirt but it needs some creative needlework done on it before I dare to wear it. My Thai wife has an extra small one that fits her perfectly though. I will look out for you anyway and if I can arrange something to pick up Emms, we will look like 2 completely lost tourists!!

Bring your shirt with you, my wife will be delivering a shirt to another Farang lady that she's arranged to have one enlarged for. It cost 60 baht for the material, and 50 Baht for the labour. I'm sure she would get yours done as well.

The lady who does them, does a really good job.

Guys, thanks for all the info and offers of help and lifts but my plans for Sat have changed so I won't be making the match. I did manage to find the shop exactly as described on Soi 70 today though and will be getting three shirts there tomorrow as today having got all the way there I realised I had left my wallet at the hotel and only had about 100 baht on me! It's a shame I won't get to see a match but I like to collect footy shirts when away and have been after a Hua Hin one since I was here last year. As a Manchester City fan (25 years member and some time season ticket holder so no plastic gybes!) I liked the colour and 'city' badge. Happy supporting to you all. Thanks again.

OK, fair enough Emms. You're going to miss a goal fest tomorrow - lets get the promotion drive kick started again - the 2 top teams meet next week, so a couple of results will put us right back in it.

Just got to hope Anucha and Kissana have kissed and made up. That combined with the the return of Lampty - no contest :D

Sorry to hear your plans have changed and you are unable to make the game, Emms. We are expecting a much improved performance tomorrow with a hopefully a goalfest to cheer us all up. Last weeks result was hopefully a huge wake-up call to the players and the management team that we really need to knuckle down and stamp the home field advantage on them. We are not a bad side but if Lampty is back tomorrow he gives us the stability at the back that has been missing for the last 2 or 3 games. 5 games to go and 5 Cup Final performances are required. Goal difference could still be a factor so lets start with an impressive win tomorrow, Guys!! We are Hua Hin, We cheer Hua Hin!!!

Fantastic result today, guys (4-0) followed by a rumour that we are back at the top of the league. Hopefully someone can confirm this before I go to bed otherwise I will not sleep properly. What is even better is that the other two teams play each other next week so we could open up a gap at the top. Today we were a bit like our old selfs again with Anucha and Kissana actually passing to each other. We created numerous chances but squandered most of them. I am at a loss however about the missing Lampty. He was not on the subs bench and I had a look around and didn`t see him in among the Home supporters either!! Where is he and can we expect him back soon? This was more like it with a good all round team performance. Towards the end when the game was won we subbed the two front men (Kissana and Anucha) and the guys that came on again (Numbers 27 and 39) created several opportunities aswell as scoring the 4th goal. They look formidable and able deputies when called upon. No rants this week so try wiping the smile off my face. Well done guys!!

Vana Nava Hua Hin City 4 - 0 Globlex TWD

I predicted a goal fest. 4 - 0 is a marked improvement, but Hua Hin could easily have doubled the winning margin.

Still no Lampty, but we've only got one more decent team to play - Petchaburi in 3 weeks time. Outside of that, it should be comfortable run-in and we can cope without him.

To me, the player who made the difference today was Sutin. I can't even remember seeing him play before - have I just not noticed him, or has he been keeping the bench warm. Working nicely down the wing, he could easily have created 3 goals in the first 5 minutes. He was all over the place.

Anucha and Kissana seem to have kissed and made up. They were almost back to their old selves. Unfortunately, they both failed to convert numerous chances. Strangely enough, they both played their best games for months, and they were both replaced. Mind you, I think the manager rested them at 3-0, rather than replace them for any other reason.

I'd like to see the video on the first goal. A Globlex defender went down as though he'd been fouled (my initial thought was that he'd fallen over the ball). The keeper saved the resultant shot, and Wongsawad hammered home the rebound. The referee awarded the goal, and Globlex went on strike - they walked off for 5 minutes.

Of course, the referee wasn't going to un-award the goal, and eventually the game re-started.

Just before half-time Hua Hin were about to walk the ball into the net when the Globlex keeper performed a rugby tackle that would have complimented Johnny Wilkinson in his prime. I expected Globlex to be down to 10, but only a yellow card was awarded. Stephens confidently converted the spot kick.

The second half was full of chances, but it took a goal from Yongsak to really secure 3 points. He should have scored twice more in the next 5 minutes.

The final goal was from one of the substitutes, No.27 (sorry, don't know his name[Edit] Maybe Tormong).

A good performance, and although the defence looked a little shaky at times, a game that Hua Hin weren't going to lose.

Next game is next Saturday at Krung Thonburi, which need to be another 3 points. Hopefully, I will be there.

Thonburi 1 - 1 Singburi

MUANGKAN UTD Vs RAJPRACHA BTU tomorrow.

So................

Hua Hin 41 points
Muangkan 40 points
Singburi 40 points

So, we're top until tomorrow. Muangkan and Singburi play next week. A draw or a win for Singburi should see us restored to the top :D

All of the goals from yesterday (and I still think the Globlex defender tripped over the ball before the first goal).

Brilliant. I did say in a post last week that it could come down to goal difference and we needed to start scoring bucket loads - just in case. As you have said - and so did I last week - that it is getting to "squeaky bum time" and it will be down to who can handle the pressure. We seem to be able to do that but we have 4 Cup Final performances to put in and the title will be ours!!
