We may have had this one before somewhere? Was it when one of the Scandinavian countries (Sweden?) changed the driving side from left to right?

If you've seen this on news reports the answers easy, if not, what is unique about this?

Looking at it, is it made of something unusual? Cardboard or summat?

Forgive me for jumping the gun, DB, but I was almost right, and I wanted to share these other wooden cars, including a wooden fuel tank apparently!

No problem d-m as I had to go out this afternoon so couldn't respond before. It is indeed a beetle made from over 50,000 pieces of oak and you can read more about it here

Obvious what make it is, but what model? The real challenge is what is under the bonnet / hood? May be worth restoring as it appears to be sound, except for the engine!

Ford Fairlane?....There were a lot of engine options but the odd one may be a straight 6? That wasn't odd then...but people may think so now. Pete

As it's obviously in Thailand, I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't got an old diesel engine from a pick up truck in it!

Yes, exactly! It has a 6 cylinder Nissan diesel truck engine in it! These cars were originally fitted with a 390 cid V8 petrol engine. It appears to be original right hand drive, but would really need to get it on a hoist to have a good look underneath to be sure. It was parked on the side of the road about 8 Kms north of Cha Am last week.
