This site has all sorts of weird, wonderful and useless stats, just scroll past the table. Don't know why I stopped using it?

Quite an interesting story of how the rules of football came about and who was responsible for the worlds largest sporting activity and following.
At the end you will be shocked at which team this man supported.

Not sure who he supported but he was born in Hull. I read an article about him in the local paper a few years ago.

Surprisingly quiet on the football front, where are all the Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Everton, Southampton and (lucky) Man U supporters crowing about their wins?

For me, there's not much to crow about
Missed the game again but ok we got a result and are back up in 4th slot.
As usual - no bloody goals from open play and I'm convinced that until we start scoring some we will suffer.
Yes we are doing ok results wise but lack of goals will cost us in the end

Same here as a Man U fan but we needed the 3 points to pull away from the relegation area,so a wins a win !Terry wrote:Dannie Boy

Nice to see the smaller teams doing so well at the top of the league, for a change, though !

We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

I guess only Chelsea are where their fans expect them to be, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs fans are maybe waiting for the implosion. Man U have been really poor but I don`t believe they can be so for the rest of the season. After watching the Chelsea Man C game I reckon the City defence had money on a Chelsea win! Can that defender not speak English and not understand Hart?

According to Dembele the small pitch at WHL makes scoring difficult. West Ham did ok though.Terry wrote:

Re: Premier League 2013-2014
Happy with Chelsea's result, obviously. But a draw would have been fairer. Can't quite get this City team, in that they have lost the art of picking up points when they play what should be on paper at least, weaker teams, but bar yesterdays last minute cock-up, do better against what could be perceived as the stronger teams?
AVB seemed to be blaming the Spuds 3rd I-O win, thanks to a penalty, on the fans not being supportive enough! What an insult, maybe he doesn't understand how much it costs to watch a premiership game these days?
What else was there? The now usual Manc struggle, a surprisingly good Liverpool win, The Arse did what they had to and Southampton and Everton are both looking good.
This weekend sees the 1st ever Welsh derby in the premiership, I wonder what the blood count will be?

Well, certainly a great day for the Manchester clubs and Arsenal,of course, with Chelsea and Liverpool getting beaten.
I suspected Chelsea might lose as I replaced Remy with Torres in my Fantasy League team !
Uniteds next two games.....Real Sociedad away and Arsenal at home....if United can avoid defeat in Spain and beat Arsenal away we can maybe say a revival is underway !

Re: Premier League 2013-2014
The "experts" waited to see how Arsenal would get on against a top side, now we know. Now they are saying, let`s wait until they play a top side away. The only Liverpool player showing any skill was Suarez but he was surrounded by average team-mates.
Most Arsenal fans are still keeping crossed fingers.
By the way where is Jimmy Greaves and his "gap" comments?

I suppose it's what you define as a top team?blue05 wrote:

They're certainly not mid table or below & if they keep Suarez, they'll be top 6 & probably in the mix for a CL place.
That said, away to Dortmund on weds, then a trip to manure on sunday are gonna be stiffer tests!!!
