Anyone know how the league system works in Thailand. I've checked the Korat FC website and the info seems to run dry in 2010? Mind you, prior to that it seemed to change season by season.

Looking at their fixture list they appear to travel all over Thailand to play, so I assume there must be national divisions?

Nakhon Ratchasima F.C. are playing in the first division and are currently 6th. Their next game is in Phuket on 29th. of June. This info can be found here http://thaileaguefootball.com/division- ... 17&team_id

Just been into my usual sports shop in the soi opposite the subhamitra hotel, I bought a hua hin city shirt but what might be of interest to BB is that if you buy 2 hua hin items they give you a free entrance gold singha card for all their home games.

It's a shame they don't do them in my size then. If you've bought a shirt, does that you mean you support them? Or is it because they are the same colours as 'Gas' shirts?

Hey bb

You dont have to buy shirts or shorts (ha) to get your free entrance card, you could buy a couple of team scarves and still get ya card.

Don't think I will go along to watch em to be honest, but for yourself I suppose it may be superior to watching Plymouth argyll any day of the week. :thumb:

It hurts me to admit it TTM, but the standard was far better than I've been seeing with the Green Army for several seasons. OK, it's probably unfair to compare because the game was played at a slower pace, and the players weren't as physical as League 2 in the UK. I am really looking forward to 7th July to see if last week was a one off.

My son has been contemplating buying a shirt for a few weeks now, so I thought buy 2 and I'll have the season ticket - worth 300 Baht to the end of the season, making one shirt almost a freebie. We went down to buy them yesterday, and were told that they had sold out - come back in about 4 weeks.

What's all this 'scarf' stuff about. TIT - what on Earth do you need a scarf for? There were loads of Hua Hin and Prachuap fans wearing them last week - how uncomfortable they must have been.

I think I'll manage 50 Baht a match for the rest of the season

Not sure of the sizes  but they had 4 or 5 on the rack in Sun Sport yesterday afternoon which I guess is where TTM went labelled at 490 baht.

Yes, that's where we went. The largest they had was medium, and my son, although 5'9"/70Kgs needs a Thai size X-Large.

OK, when you said sold out I wondered if you went all the way to the ground to buy it. I think they had baseball caps as well as scarves....................

No, I'll just pay the 50 Baht a match for the rest of this season. 490 Baht for a Hua Hin City shirt and 430 Baht for the new England shirts. Hua Hin City shirts are obviously overpriced to incorporate the 'free' admission.
