Our team will be there to keep the rest off the bottom. However, it's rumoured we've got 'an expert' coming this time to assist. It seems that our quest is to finish above the football hooligans - won't be too hard if they aren't turning up

Unfortunately, our 'ringer' failed to muster, and the Football Hooligans managed to scrape together enough knowledge to beat us again : . We are getting closer though, and it can only be a matter of time before we beat them.
I'm also pleased to say that another team managed to prise the wooden spoon from us last night.
Yes, 'twas another good'un! Actually, we were in the lead for quite a while, but we ran out of puff towards the end.
Nice bit of grub too.
I nearly managed to get away without paying my bill, but half way to the car I heard the sound of my name wafting on the breeze toward me and hot-footed it back - suitably shamefaced!
I hear the next quiz will be done by our Scottish member, Mac the Pocketknife, who got the only Scottish question wrong. Roll on independence.
