Another good night, and they really excelled themselves with a selection of 2 meals at half time. I didn't try either but my son made up for me with a generous helping of both spagetti bolognaise and massaman curry - he said both were excellent.

It was good to see the football hooligans on the next table doing quite well. Maybe thay have learnt that less time barracking us, give them more time to concentrate on the quiz.

As for our team, our star player is in the UK at the moment, but we still nearly won. However, there was another team that eventually stole the wooden spoon from us . We've got a plan for next time though - when we sat on table 4, we averaged 4 points per round. When we sat on table 6 we averaged 6 points per round. Next time we're going to sit on table 10

As usual, a big thank you to everybody involved - my team had a good night.
