I am looking for a person in HuaHin that can teach me how to speak thai.
I will come to HuaHin in october 2006 and stay to april 2007
I think I need the teacher for about 6 mounths and at least 4 hours a day.
The salery will be rather good and 2 meals free every day ?
Male or female does not matter. I have been looking with a candle without no succes.

"mosmaja" - there are a few teachers here, but it might not be easy to find someone to book for four hours every day. I also think four hours every day would be very tiresome for yourself, and therefore perhaps not even very efficient. I would like to learn Thai myself, but I find it tiresome just to think about more than one or two hours every second day for lessons. Of course this is why I don't know many words.

There are advertisements in the classified ads in the Hua hin Observer. The other think is to find a long haired dictionary to teach you.
There are many teachers around in BK and HH and no doubt everywhere else
The major issue I think is time span
1 hour a day and make sure you get the homework to go with it, I reckon that is the max intake
I tried it and did quite well until I realised they all want to learn English or Chinese so they didn't want to talk to me in Thai
