Re: Premier League 2011-2012
Liverpool this season under Dalglish have been pathetic. Without spending 490 mill wba are 3 points below liverpool. I do not believe Hadgson should have been made manager of England but he has a good history of managing teams of a lower level like Switzerland. Therefore time will tell. Good managers should not spend a fortune. Where did you get your 40 mill from that usel;ess lump carroll was 35 mill and that was just one player.
Take your blinkers off and you will see the light.

Eeeerrrm, we sold over 70 million quids worth in that window, we also sold the likes of Mascherano for 20 in the summer without reinvesting because we we're kinda going into administration.
And name me a manager who has recently won anything who hasn't spent?
Wengers the only one who's balanced the books, consistently got top 4 but even he hasn't won a trophy in years.
I've seen Roy Hodgsons football, week in week out and his interviews for 6 months longer than I could handle, my considered opinion of him and his tactics is he is shit, no better than Taylor or Mclaren.
I called it before his Liverpool appointment and was correct, this is the buffoon that sold Roberto Carlos to Real Madrid because he. "couldn't defend"

Okay Baa Baa. Let's just say for argument's sake that Roy is shite.... Do you still rate Kenny as a manager? If you do, well that's when people wonder about everything else that you say Baa Baa.
'Martin Skrtel’s fifth-minute own goal was enough to hand victory to Fulham and leave Liverpool staring at their worst home campaign since 1948-49'.
So basically he's the crappest manager you've had for 60 years... yet you still rate him? Yes he was half decent before but, you've gotta admit, he doesn't have a clue about managing a team currently. We all understand this bizarre gay love affair the scousers have for him but surely there comes a time when you need to say 'enoughs enough'. Liverpool need someone better at the helm. With the quality of players you have there should be absolutely no reason why you are not fighting it out at the top.

I'd let Dalglish have next season yes as I've WATCHED the games, we play good Football most of the time and create alot of chances. Anybody who saw the West Brom match or Arsenal match will have seen our season in summary.

Re: Premier League 2011-2012
Baa Baa so you prefer a manager who has the worst home record since 48/49 to one who has a better home record. As I said before remove your blinkers.

Re: Premier League 2011-2012
No, I prefer one who has an overall better record, plays far far superior football, doesn't alienate the players and fans and actually wins trophies.
You support Spurs don't you? I support Liverpool, I watch every game therefore I'd say I have a better idea of who is a better coach, the difference is night and day.
I've said it already but our performances are much better than our points tally suggests, Hodgsons weren't. I couldn't care less now anyway, he's England's journey man, enjoy the prehistoric Football.

I'm not entirely sure why all these non-Liverpool fans have such a vested interest in trying to prove Dalgish is a pile of poo. And I certainly don't understand why anyone would try to build up Hodgson as manager of the century! If I were you, BaaBaa, I wouldn't bother responding - you are far too easy to wind up when it comes to Liverpool.
By the way, I think lindosfan supports Crystal Palace. Use that info wisely...

DM yes I do support Crystal Palace but I do not wear blinkers.
Hodgson as manager for England, probably not, time will tell he was not my choice. IMO there is not an English manager that stands out. A lot of people wanted 'arry' but not sure about him either. We are stuck with Hodgson so we should support and hope he wins, but with the current squad I do not hold out a lot of hope.
I am not criticising Liverpool but I am criticising the demented wailings of biased liverpool supporters who prefer a manager who has currently a worse record than one who spent a lot for a dismal home record.

My two penny worth
I'm no great football guru but surely it is really down to the management/owners.
IMO Coaches seem to be powerless most of the time and only the big guns who attain knighthood seem to survive

WOW, i just figured out the toon have won the league!!!! I've taken all the poor decicions, the times we hit the post, the times we hit the bar,the offsides that weren't,all the fouls awarded against us that weren't,players we got sent off, players that weren't sent off in our favour and we've won the league by 10 clear points!!!!!

Re: Premier League 2011-2012
Chelsea 0-2 Newcastle
A draw would have been perfect, but that win will do.
Chelsea really need to lose that final against Bayern...
Bolton 1- 4 Spurs
That's more like the old Spurs, but a shaky 10 minutes or so at the start of the 2nd half!
Win these last 2 games and we're still in with a shout for 3rd...
