No worries, For some reason I do like to see the English cricket team win as long as it's not against Ireland. The football/rugby teams no no :D

City looked a class act tonight - Utd hardly had a sniff.

If City can win at Newcastle, which they should, the title's theirs on goal difference.

Chelsea-Newcastle a draw
Spurs finish 4th
Hodgson for England

A good end to the season

Norwich and/or West Brom do us a favour against Arsenal
Spurs finish 3rd
Ecstasy
This is the way

West Brom do us a favour against Arsenal
*Cue irrelavant rant about Kenny*

That'll be a draw that game so there's ya 2 points. You see, 'Ol Roy can outsmart Kenny even though Kenny has a quality group of players at hand so Arsene, with a little less quality at hand than Kenny's got, should be about even I guess.

If it wasn't clear in my 2 sentences above I rate Hodgy Podgy in a different league (the league higher  - gotta clarify everything here...not the sharpest tools in the shed I have to say) than the whinging decrepid headless chicken that is Bling Kenny.

Pheeww got that off my chest! Sorry to rant but been sitting with some die hards tonight (morning) and you try to have a civil conversation about football management and history and it nearly ends up in fistycuffs.... - calm down calm down.

Liverpool are still my second team but the more I meet some 100% Liverpool fans the more I question why I continue to like them. Maybe I've just been unlucky with the one's I've met :?

Anywho, here's to a Liverpool winning in the FA Cup and a slap to the head for the majority (possibly...I really don't know - currently it's 100% morons regarding the people I've met so 'majority' is being kind) of fans that support them.

Anyways back to topic....

Well done citeh. Nothing like watching purple nose doing his awkward constipated pose on the bench. Can't put a price on laughter.

*Can't be arsed to check this post for typos or anything else... just been sitting with a couple of scousers for the last couple of hours who, at first, appeared to be normal people, but with the mention of 'Roy did better in the league with an inferior squad than Kenny' I was nearly taken out back to be executed gangland style.

Just been reading 'The Sun' report on the game this morning and came across this....

'The gripping game was seen by an incredible one in ten people around the globe.'

So the world has a population of what... 7 billion+. So according to 'The Sun' 700,000,000 viewed the game. It's been great 'The Sun' but because of this bizarre bit of reporting I for one will be switching to 'The Mirror'.

If you don't believe me take a look yourself... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... d-1-0.html

These days it is accepted that 1 billion = 1,000,Million

So the population is about 7,000,000,000

1 in 10 = 10%

So - 700,000,000 could have watched - according to the Sun

Given the number of global footy fans - that is a credible number

I heard the same number quoted on ESPN

Now, I take anything the Sun says with a pinch of shite, but ESPN should know what it's talkin about wrt footy

Don't forget, it was the pundits on ESPN last week who predicted an all Spanish Champions League Final - so they must be right

Very disappointing display by United......Citeh deserved their win.
Couldnt fathom out the team selection with Valencia,Young and Welbeck on the bench and starting with Nani,Giggs and Park Ji Sung.
United need a big clearout at the end of the season starting at the top with Phelan being replaced by Queiroz !
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

I'll put something else in a nutshell, everything about Roy Hodgson is shit, his CV, his Football and what comes out of his gob.

WBA did beat Liverpool recently, Roy had his 2 banks of 4,defended for 90 minutes, the odd longball hoof and somehow fluked it, should suit England fine.

How do you work that out? Hodgson is the worst manager in Liverpool history, he's woeful.

That's why he has won ZERO of note in his Looooong journey man career.

English football is in the state it's in because people accept mediocrity like Hodgson, Liverpool fans didn't and we're off to Wembley again at the weekend, most of the press who Championed him for Liverpool are now backtracking.

Jesus, when they list his honours they have to put Runner up and LMA manager of the year to bulk it up a bit.

On top of that he's an arsehole, don't buy the "niceguy" stuff.

Hodgson inherited a bad team there 6 months. Dalglish inherited the same team spent loads of cash and made them worse, who is the worst manager.

Hodgson didn't inherit a bad team, he bought shit like Poulsen and Konchesky and left us near the relegation zone.

Dalglish was without Mascherano and Torres left, spent 40 million net (aka a normal transfer budget) and made us better, including 2 cup finals, now trot along and read your redtops.

BTW Lindosfan, Hodgsons win percentage at Liverpool was 42, Dalglish has 48, we play better football and have honestly been desperately unlucky in alot of matches, hitting the woodwork 30+ times.

We've also been to Wembley more times this season than Hodgson has EVER!

Enjoy England's new boss, he's probably Guardiolas idol.
