Bloody imbeciles! I travel up and down from Bangkok to Hua Hin a lot, and I must say that one of the biggest contributing causes of road accidents is the absolute a---holes that INSIST on traveling in the fast lane at a slow speed, thereby encouraging those that just have to be there before everybody else, to constantly weave across the 3 lanes.
I think the highway speed limit is 90 (of course you'd never know as they usually don't post the speed here). I can't tell you how many times I've been cruising along in the right lane at 120 and looked into my mirror to see it full of van grill one foot (or less) from the back of my vehicle. Makes me want to have a James Bond car that can drop tacks, oil, or shoot missiles out the exhaust! :guns:
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Passenger van-truck crash, 8 killed

http://www.bangkokpost.com/breakingnews ... h-8-killed

Eight Cambodians were killed, five others injured when their passenger van slammed into the back of a parked 18-wheel truck at the 59th kilometre marker on Kanchanaphisek road in On Nut area on Friday morning, police said.

Pol Col Phairat Phukcharoen of the Highway Police Division 8 said the five injured passengers, two in critical condition, were taken to a nearby hospital.

The driver of the passenger van, a Thai citizen, had fled the scene.

Police said the Cambodians, who entered Thailand legally, hired the van in Pathum Thani to go to Rong Klua market in Aranyaprathet district of the eastern province of Sa Kaeo.

Has anyone on here had acount-up of the accidents/deaths/injuries from these suicidal vans in the last say 10 days??
The latest smash at On Nut invoved what appears to be a minivan with 'official' government decals on it..so does anyone at ant bus-station/company office have any clue who drives these vans that carry their insignia & route No. ?? (or would they answer "mai roojak" so no comebacks arise..as usual.. :guns: :banghead:
