Old ones are usually enigmatic, mysterious and subtle, young ones, on the other hand, are loud, unsubtle and have the finger of ridicule pointed at them.

On a slightly different tack, does anyone know why the beeb, in their wisdom, has seen fit to censor the finger? Whilst at the same time graphically describe the incident as follows -

'Suarez raised the middle finger on his left hand as he left the pitch'

Do they really believe it will cause offence or morally corrupt the nation?

My teeth are only slightly gritted when I say that I'll be very interested to see him back, albeit temporarily. Not quite sure how he and van Persie would work together, but that's hardly my problem!

And finally, Suarez is banned for tonight's game, but never fear, Andy's here...
...since he has come here, he has gone about his work very well on and off the pitch and he is adjusting to life at a new club with a new philosophy and a new way of playing. There is nobody at our place who couldn't be doing better, so he is in the same bracket as everyone else.
... says King Kenny of Andy Carroll. Still adjusting after nearly a year puts him on the slow side, though not quite in the Torres bracket. Apparently in the same bracket as everyone else at Liverpool though!
Kidding apart, the game against his old club, who are struggling to hold their position, is an ideal opportunity to get a bit of momentum of his own.
This is the way

Carroll is a kid in terms of being the big hitman, leading the line.

I now have my doubts if he'll make it at Liverpool but I like the lad.

Suarez is a potential world superstar who's already in the top 10 in the world. Unlimited potential.

Probably be hounded out of the country though.

£35 million is a lot to pay for a "prospect". Perhaps he hasn`t lived up to expectations, do you think he will move on Baa Baa?

No idea as the lad clearly has potential, possibly not in our setup though. Could be a F up of epic proportions.

The fee was circumstances, new owners couldn't not replace Torres.

He's a top player & has plenty of potential, not so sure if he fits into the LFC style of play.
He certainly isn't good enough to lead the line as a sole striker, yet! which he's had to do at times :|

Suarez is a potential world superstar who's already in the top 10 in the world. Unlimited potential.
He also has the potential but not quite world top ten material for me yet though.
I don't think he'll be hounded out. I think he's got more backbone & character than that :|

With Arsenal strikers Marouane Chamakh and Gervinho both involved in next month's Africa Cup of Nations stickers are short.
Henry will play support for Van the Man.
Also remember Van the Man has had injury problems in the past.
Should work well, me thinks.I like it.
Theo has the number 14 shirt(Henry's old kit number), but number 12 is free which Henry usually wears when playing for France.
