Little typo there, Terry, unintentional no doubt, but never mind! :neener:

Of course, I completely forgot I had Spurs for 2-1 on IKTS.

Defoe looked sharp and scored a cracker, but Spurs continue to be vulnerable at the back and profligate up front (GLCQ - it means 'wasteful' ) - they could and should have scored at least half a dozen tonight.

However, 3rd place, 2 points behind Man U with a game in hand.
:sun: :rasta:

Shall I stay up for the Arsenal? Hmm, I'll think about it...

Just watching Rooney swing his boot at a player on the floor, trying to win the ball apparently.

The bias in England is disgusting.

Hi BaaBaa, you're fairly quiet this season! Since you mention it, I'm willing to have a small wager on relative league positions at any point in the season! :naughty:
You surely don't begrudge us a little run of success, do you?

Success?

3rd before Christmas is success at Spurs?

Suppose that highlights the difference between our clubs.

Great first half of football from the 2 teams.... thought City were gonna run away with it after the goal, but an OG completely changed the game and Liverpool were more than good for the 1-1.

Wish Kenny would have a little word with Charlie Adam though to stay on his feet... big, strong lad goes down from a gentle wind looking for the foul. Not the first times this season and doubt it'll be the last.

Agreed, great half.

Although Adam looks like a bruiser he isn't the most physical player to be honest. That's what annoyed me about him at first as I'm used to Benitez compact midfields but he's definitely grown on me in the last few games.

Lucas is developing into a hell of a player too.

Couldn't help but feel a little sorry for Balotelli today... seemed like he didn't do much to get himself sent off. Anyways credit to Liverpool, even when all the players were on the pitch they held their own and deserved the win I thought.

Good weekend for spurs.... gained 2 points on all teams bar Chelsea.

Thought it was harsh myself, not a bad result all things considered.

Unbelievably Souness and Neville are saying it was a definite red.

Apparently he's just kicked off in the dressing room though, you could here City players shouting Mario, Mario while Lucas was getting his man of the match award.

Well 2nd in the league, for a short time I know.

Should have done better. But can't complain at 3-0 :D

Pleased with Chelsea today. The game should have been out of sight before half-time, but for the Geordie keeper. 2nd half, IMHO, tactically, Pardew got it right but that should have been predictable and we didn't counter it.

Mata MOTM? Should have been Terry, but can only assume not acceptable at the mo?
