Maybe, but the food is normally good but the service is sadly abysmal. Once they have taken your order they don't give a shit. In your place the girls are attentive and ensure all is OK and even the bosses come up and ask if all is OK

T90 is going down the same route as Contina at the moment. Even tour operators are striking it off the 'places to eat list'

GLCQuantum you really do need to calm down a touch. Business is business, and it can be a cruel world where little forgiveness is shown. We also always preach about "democracy" and so-called freedom of speech, so if Richard had a bad experience, he has every right to voice his opinion. The bad service (if it was) has nothing to do with him, but instead, it's a problem for management to sort out.


I for one rarely eat out, for a number of reasons, so if I were to go out for a meal, and pay good money for that meal, I too would expect decent service. If you can afford to fork out a few thousand baht everyday on meals, then the odd bad experience is no big deal, but we're not all in the same boat, and for some, eating out is a treat rather than the norm.


I've eaten at a number of places here in Hua-Hin where the food or service has been crap, and really, I should have posted on here about those places, but I guess I'm just too lazy. Instead, I just don't go back. I haven't eaten at T90 so I can't really comment, but like I say, if the service or food was crap, then customers have the right to share their opinions.


Your comments about eating out of dustbins are completely irrelevant - he was, after all, paying for a meal and the service which goes with it.


On a slightly different note - I have, up until now, only heard good reports regarding T90, so one negative report, or one bad night, is not likely to put them out of business.

I agree with Takiab. Everyone has a right to complain.
However, I do find Richard's way of complaining extreme and OTP.

Fine, complain about the service, but comments like "My guess (and rumours abound that echo my thinking), you will not be in business for 2012 high season unless you shape up" or "Even tour operators are striking it off the 'places to eat list" are uncalled for - these are just unsubstantiated rumours.

We've been to T90 about 10 times or more and it's the GF's favourite place to eat in HH.
Great variety of food. Saying the pricing is way to high is way out of order in my view, I think it's great value for money.

After all, it's not a 30 baht kao pat stall.

We will certainly be going back - we've never had a bad meal there nor had any reason to complain about the service.
In fact, even though we go there infrequently, they always remember who we are and even which table we prefer.

If you have frequently eaten at an establishment, and have had value for the coinage every time, I find it unfair to complain about the one time there is reason for discontent. After all, you have repeatedly returned to the place, so you must have been satisfied, n'est-ce pas? So why complain about the single incidence as there surely is a solid reason it?

I am sure the mishap compounds in restaurant business as it does in every other business: when your other cook is suddenly taken ill, one of the waiting staff is at child's sickbed and when one of the deliveries has failed to materialize, that's when you'll have a sudden influx of unexpected customers. Here's when the service is slow and the staff too busy for friendly chit-chat. Here's when one should try to understand the situation and allow some leeway for the harangued entrepreneur and the staff.

Let me illustrate this with a real-life example: In my young years (a few months ago) I was living on the streets during a bitter cold English winter and eating the end of shelf life products in several different waste bins at the back of Somerfields. Some of the waste bins were good some of the time, and most of the waste bins were good most of the time, but not all of the waste bins were there all of the time.

May this put some things into perspective for you.

Here is what happened:

American Thanksgiving had only 20 people booked ( Terrace upstairs ) with a cut off to buy tickets 0f 20 Nov. --for the 24 Nov feast. Over 50 showed up. Many were young University Students who had just not gotten the word. (Note: I told them HHAD is a good source of info) We did not have the Heart to turn them away.


Staff maxed out Kitchen did an amazing job of keeping buffet full. Never ran out of Ham or Turkey or anything else. (We had over cooked planning on running Specials on Friday). Zero Turkey left. Bakery went into overtime for additional deserts. Some Day Shift Staff returned to work but not enough it seems. The Night Shift supervisor (me Khun Nat) was Baking Extra Deserts) as I’m also the Baker. I just could not meet and greet Terrace 1 (first floor) people. I’m so sorry.


We have one more new waitress starting 1 Dec. (she is coming from a well known local restaurant). If anyone knows of English speaking waiters or waitress looking for work send them our way. We spent a month with an advert on local TV trying to find more. Many came but few spoke English.

Now sad to hear your dinner was not up to our standards. Could you please tell us what steak you had by PM? Also PM us so we can make this right by you. We owe you a dinner on us.

Please except my apologies. Next year we will plan on double the ticket sales for Thanksgiving and have all the staff on overtime. I worked a 16 hour plus day. Again PM or e mail me so we can make this right with you

We did not attend Thanksgiving Dinner so cannot comment on same. However, my wife (a very fastidious diner) and I eat at T90 about twice a week ever since they opened. Sometimes breakfast and dinner. Never any complaints with service or food.
