KBA, Stop the Dirty Kiteboarding Politics in Hua Hin!

So what is going on around here and where does it happen? This section is for discussion on local events, festivals, and holidays as well as activities and things to do.

Hmm, expected this to be a dead topic...

Anyway, if the big boys wouldn't set up a shop right beside a new small "independent" shop we'd have half a dozen kiteboarding school/shops here in Hua Hin.

Easy.

Their aggressive tactics didn't work so far. Only bad blood.

Now they're upping the ante.

This being Thailand, I'd be really surprised if kiteboarding in Hua Hin will ever be a regulated thing.

Knowing the big boys' aggressive tactics they'll go on and on. But there's only so much Thais are willing to take.

seaside; I'm agree with u that it's a lot of bad blood here and I don't like it. Because in the end of the day it will hurt everyone. People who coming in from other places see and hear this and it's look bad. Hua Hin gone have a bad reputation among kiters who come here to enjoy. Kiters should show respect all other beach users, maybe they should move the kiting area to Soi 81 and south 8) it's no beach restautantes and less walkers.

I'm a bit wary of any beachside activity that doesn't involve cocktail umbrellas!
