Even non-supporters must surely admire Levy's stance on the whole Modric thing. Chelsea have done their usual thing and contacted the guy waving a huge salary under his nose (and Champions league football with a shot at the premiership title but let's just forget about that for the sake of this post eh!)

Levy is basically telling all to shut the feck up, the guys under contract which he was happy with when he signed.... end of.

A lot of other owners would benefit from implementing those kind of work ethics within their team rather than producing a bunch of 'I'll do what I like' pampered pussycats.

Don't know if he'll still be here or not or even contribute very well anymore now Chelsea have done there thing but.... BLOODY well done Levy.

Totally agree, the same should have been done with Berbatov. Selling to your rivals, crazy!

Spurs have Falque on loan as well, eh? A 21-yr-old Spanish midfielder from Juventus.
Described as "one for the future", you'd think if he was that good he'd be one for the present, but let's hope he makes a real name for himself over the next 9 months.
I've got Spurs down to beat Citeh 2-1.
I've also put my insurance on that game...

And today it has been as much as confirmed that Modric is going nowhere... 'We have won the battle to keep Modric' - Harry Redknapp

With Adebayor and that new spanish lad lets hope this is another good year for spurs.

P.S Just read this....

HARRY REDKNAPP plans a £16million swoop for Brazil striking sensation Leandro Damiao.

After having a 12 million bid turned down spurs are set to make a better offer. That would be a nice little signing too.

It'll be nice when Redknapp shuts his mouth for 5 minutes, if the guy isn't tapping up players via his interviews he's on an advert, in the sky studio, praising Man Utd in his newspaper column on the day his team is playing them and no doubt in a few days he'll be hanging out of his car window telling us how he bid for Messi and Iniesta but they prefer the wages at Barca.

Oh, and please please please take Joe Cole but he's actually under contract so talk to LFC, not sky, you disrespectful media whore.

Well.... I like 'im :D.

I agree he can be a 'little' too vocal at times but the fella lifted us off the bottom of the table and played a big part to making us the team we are today.

Good ol 'Arry.

I think with `Arry he gets asked a question which he answers to the best of his ability but then it gets twisted by the media. (and this from an Arsenal supporter!)

Maybe if by some very slim chance (nb very slim Baa Baa) he gets to be Liverpool boss, overnight he would become an untouchable hero in Baa Baa`s eyes.

It's blatantly obvious he briefs his Journo buddies to ask him about players so he can do what he does.

And he'll never manage Liverpool, ever, he's about as qualified to manage Liverpool as Hodgson was.
You have to be a successful Manager to manage Liverpool, apart from when the previous halfwits were in charge anyway, luckily that was rectified very quickly.

I'm hoping Hodgson or Redknapp replace Wenger.

Agreed, all of Liverpool's managers have been good, apart from the bad ones. Nice to see you remaining as objective as always, BaaBaa!

^

The halfwits I was referring to were the previous owners who nearly made us go bump and a board that included Royal Bank of Scotland employees.

The only dud manager LFC have ever had was employed by them. Luckily he was booted out sharpish.

So I see Joey Barton's signed for QPR (on a free  )....

I wonder if our beloved 'bubbly' still backs his every moranic move. Doubt it.

Great move for QPR though, Barton would improve most squads in the League.
