What a great summer this is turning out to be, we've just signed Enrique too. 8)
Gloating before a ball has been kicked can often lead to a bite in the Arse! You have a short memory Baa Baa, bigging up LFC pre-season in the past made you look a tad silly.

Did I big up LFC?

Besides we had a god awful "Manager" in charge last season and were heading towards administration so forgive me for feeling a little bit more optimistic and looking forward to the season.

The good thing is, that compared to who knows how many past seasons, before this season I have no high expectations. :(

2 best players? what about RVP? & Wilshere, who is gonna be a better all round player than fabregas :|

Don't get me wrong, Fabregas is quality but he has become a bit of a sicknote over the last couplke of years. could end up with Michael Owen syndrome)
Add to that, he's the reason we have no plan B because everything has been moulded around him.

Am i sorry to see him go? of course, but i do think with a few new signings & what we have coming through, we'll emerge a better, more adaptable team. :|

As for Nasri, he was on fire for the first half of last season (the only real consistent period since he's been here  ), then disappeared without a trace.
He won't be that great loss, believe me & is probably replaced already with Gervinho.

It is slightly baffling though how AW has left it so late to sort out this out. Both should have been out the door months back :?

Wilshere can't be ranked alongside Fabregas just yet.

RVP and Silva are my two favourite non Liverpool players to watch (soon add Aguero to that list) but the fact is RVP is made of glass, I think Daniel Agger is potentially the best Centreback in the league but it's a bold statement to make when, like RVP, he spends half his time on the treatment table.

Wenger is going to be the media whipping boy this year now Rafas gone if results don't go to plan.

Thanks Baa Baa,

Due to the absence of spurs I shall be watching the Liverpool / Sunderland game.

Can't see Sunderland getting anything from it and will be a nice little insight into just what we can expect from Liverpool this season.

Can you get match of the day on myp2p?

Yeah it's been on before. Don't forget though that it's down to an individual guy streaming it.

I always watch Soccer Saturday on it, Football focus is also normally on.

Don't forget there's a 7:30 MOTD repeat on a Sunday. 1:30 Thai time which might suit you better, although obviously not guaranteed it's gonna be on P2P.

Looking half decent for first game of season ain't we?

Yep. Liverpool in complete control for the first half. Charlie Adam playing a big part in things.Certainly an agressive attacking style Kenny has liverpool playing. Suarez redeemed himself nicely after spooning the penalty (which he won).

Your new guys are all looking good.

QPR have had an interesting first half - good passing and attacking stuff, but no finishing - sad that they are 1-0 down to Bolton

That pr*ck Davies is not making himself popular again - managed to take out the QPR keeper half way between the goal and the corner flag and is now getting barraged with boos from the Lofthouse Road gang.

I love Saturdays..................
