I saw someone driving the Citroen 2cv based version of the VW 'Thing' here today and that's probably uglier.

How can you have the world's 15 ugliest cars without more than just 1 Fiat and no Citroens - by far the world's ugliest cars?

That's more like it. However, I'd guess that 90% of all Citroens would be fighting for a place in the top 15. Fiats should be providing very stiff opposition.

Citroen are a strange one as they've produced some very fine cars such as the DS and Traction Avant that JK showed us above that were way ahead of their time technically and style wise but on the other hand they've come up with some absolute horrors.

That AMC Matador is a great looking car IMO! It can sit on my drive any time. Older Citroens produced some classics but I guess you have to be a certain age to appreciate them. The Bugs are still on sale at a dealer not too far from me and again are classics in their own way. Trabants are still used in Germany for tours in Berlin.
Too many cars now are indestinguishable from each other - we have lost the old beauties like Interceptors and Stags which sadly suffered from poor build quality and succumbed to bog standard aeronautical fuel economy type design.

No such list could be complete without the AMC Gremlin, not only ugly but crappy quality and no fun to drive. Good to see it there!
