I was told by a good friend only on Sunday how good Kor Sor is and he said very well worth a visit for the Thai food and the surrounding gardens,

As part time residents in Bo Fai we went to Kor Sor last time we were at home, in September. We thought it was really really good. Beautiful setting, good and reasonably priced menu, very good and friendly service. Highly recommended if its still as good as it was when we went. Let us know how you get on.

go past Bo Fai temple and Odin's bar and head towards the Chinese temple on the hill. Turn right immediately past the new housing estate on the right, just before the road starts climbing up towards the hill. Kor Sor has large and beautifully landscpaed gardens with say 15 guest lodges around a lake, with a large restaurant overlooking the whole scene.

The missus and I finally got around to trying this place today as we were in the area on other business at lunch time. The food was excellent and the setting hard to beat indeed. Beautiful huge restaurant and we were the only lunch patrons in the place. We had the Penang Duck and the Spicy Fried Snapper Salad and I highly recommend both. Prices are moderate; those two dishes plus a large Chang and and iced tea came to a little over 500 baht after 7% vat and 10% tip added to the bill. The only thing I didn't like about the place was the forced 10% tip which I don't agree with anywhere but it is a resort and spa so this is the kind of place that usually does that.

Anyway, good food, good service in a great setting.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I live just around the corner from this place so I really must give it a try. Whoever was behind the developing of the resort has done an outstanding job, given that it was just a regular piece of land when they started. The waterfall, etc, etc, etc, was all added in, and while there was a lake of some sorts, it was nothing like it is now. Will be interesting to see what it will look like once they're finished.

7% VAT added-on, 10% tip put on the bill...good to tell it's owned by Thai-Chinese and all aimed at BKK Hi-So.
My wife say's there's hundreds of nice Thai restaurants around HH that do not insult you with 17% loading on the bin...maybe she's right..?
